Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie shared an unforgettable, full-circle moment on Saturday evening (Oct. 15) in Las Vegas.

The “Son Of A Sinner” singer headlined the Downtown Rocks festival on Fremont Street in Sin City. The show, which took place on Third Street and was part of the Fremont Street’s free concert series, was extra special for the hitmaker as it’s just feet away from where he met his wife, Bunnie XO (Bunnie DeFord), seven years ago in 2015.

During his headlining set, Jelly Roll made sure to stop to let fans know that why this specific sold-out show was monumental for him. He went on to tell the crowd that he couldn’t help but to keep thinking about a special moment that took place on the same street several years ago.

“The best decision I’ve ever made in my life I made right here on this fu–ing street,” Jelly Roll told the sold-out crowd of 20,000 fans in his wife’s hometown of Las Vegas  “In 2015 right down the street on this street was a bar called the Las Vegas Country Saloon. I was drunk that night in there and I met the most important person in my life, the woman who would go on to being my wife. A woman who grew up right here in Las Vegas, Nevada. 7 years later, I’m happily married with custody of our child and I just can’t do this set one second longer without bringing out Las Vegas’ own Bunnie DeFord.”

Jelly Roll took to social media after his performance to share a couple of heartfelt photos that captured the couple’s joy as they returned to this momentous spot.

“Saturday night was special – we got to play a show on the same street that I met you for the first time — I’ll never forget that night on Fremont street that I met you standing by the bar at what was then called the “LVCS” (Las Vegas country saloon),” Jelly Roll wrote. “7 years later to stand on that same street right after we played one of the biggest shows they’ve had on Fremont Street is a feeling I’ll never forget…”

He went on to recall the day they said their vows in the Entertainment Capital of the World.

“I would end up marrying you in the same city we met, your hometown, Las Vegas,” Jelly Roll continued. “I remember vividly where we were in our lives back then. Both coming out of toxic relationships. Both struggling to find our way in life. I always knew when we can back to Vegas it would be the homecoming you always deserved and the one I’ve always dreamed of… thank you, Vegas , we will cherish this one forever. May the next one be even bigger and crazier.”

His wife then took to the comments of his heartfelt post to gush over the 37-year-old Nashville native.

“Alright sir, ima need you to just bring your tallywhacker to put in my mouth 😂 I just love YOU!!” Bunnie commented. “I knew you were so special then & now sharing you w the world makes my heart explode w/ so much love & pride. I can’t wait to see where the next 7 years takes us baby! Thank you for betting on me… I’ve forever told you the house always wins & that’s all we’ve done since we met. Sincerely, your ace in the hole 💜”

Jelly Roll and Bunnie recently celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on Wednesday (Aug. 31). At the time of their anniversary, the chart-topping singer took to social media to celebrate the couple’s big day with a heartfelt message for his bride.

“6 YEARS AGO TODAY WE STUMBLED INTO COURT HOUSE DRUNK AND GOT MARRIED,” he recalled. “And looking back at what felt like the absolute wildest decision I ever made it ended up literally being the best decision I’ve made my entire life.”

He went on to pay tribute to Bunnie and thank her for the impact she has had on his life.

“This woman has truly changed my life in every way possible,” he wrote. “She truly changed the lens in which I see life through. These last 6 years have been a testament of the growth two rebels can make when they bring the best out of each other and push each other to the next level. Thank you for coming into my life and calming the storm. Thank you for running wild and free with me.”

Jelly Roll then graciously thanked Bunnie for her being a great bonus mom to his daughter, Bailee.

He continued, “Thank you for raising Bailee as is she was your own. Thank you for standing by me when the monsters attacked and fighting the demons with me. Thank you ram love… for smile and constantly being that same silly woman I fall in love with every day… stopping to dance with me any time any day anywhere. HAPPY Anniversary Beautiful.”

Bunnie, who is the host of The Dumb Blonde podcast, also shared a post on social media to commemorate the occasion.

“6 years. We made it 6 fkn years Daddy,” Bunnie wrote. ”I kno to some that doesn’t seem long, but to us, it speaks volumes. Two chaotic off the rail feral souls that collided in a smoky bar-downtown Vegas in 2015.”

Bunnie then recalled meeting Jelly Roll for the first time.

“Fast forward to a newly single me in 2016 & J was asking me what my 5-year plan was completely annihilated from the booze filled night we had,” she continued. ”Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought we would have manifested everything we talked about that night.”

She praised Jelly Roll’s influence on her life.

“You ease the violence in my soul & make me a softer woman. You refocused my vision so I could become the best version of myself & partner for you,” Bunnie added. ”You gave me a family because the one I have is extremely toxic & broken. You are otherworldly – your soul is too pure for this planet yet still, somehow you’re mine & you choose me daily.”

As Bunnie continues to host her widely popular podcast, Jelly Roll is preparing to make his mark on Nashville with a massive headlining show at Bridgestone Arena on December 9. Proceeds from the event will benefit Impact Youth Outreach.

Jelly Roll’s latest single “Son Of A Sinner” is currently climbing the charts at Country radio and sits in the Top 10.
