Jason Aldean

Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar is getting a second location in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Visit Gatlinburg confirmed the news via social media on Wednesday (April 19) and shared a photo of the new space.

“Guess what’s coming to Gatlinburg? ↖️ @Jason_Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar,” the city’s tourism department wrote on Twitter.

The news comes after fans spotted the bar’s logo on the side of a building on Parkway in Gatlinburg. Excitement swirled throughout social media as fans began posting video clips to TikTok of Jason Aldean’s new bar and restaurant.

Opening New Location In Gatlinburg

Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar will be situated in the heart of Gatlinburg, just one block away from the popular breakfast eatery, Pancake Pantry.

The Parkway, also known as U.S. Highway 441, is a popular tourist area in the Smokey Mountains that also features dozens of small shops, theaters, attractions, eateries and more.

Jason Aldean’s First Location In Nashville In 2018

The new East Tennessee location follows the 2018 opening of Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar in Nashville. The Nashville location is located at 307 Broadway and boasts over 27,000 square feet with four levels and six bars.

The bar and restaurant is one of the most popular stops on Broadway. The main menu was created by Jason Aldean with Chef Tomasz Wosiak and includes Southern-style dishes such as Jason’s Mac & Cheese, Southern Meatloaf, Country Cornbread, Chicken Wings, and a Nashville Hot Chicken salad.

Additionally, The Food Basket menu includes bar favorites like Fried Pickles, Dry Rub Wings, and a Classic Cheeseburger.

Formerly The Tequila Cowboy

The mezzanine level of his Music City bar includes a gift shop full of memorabilia, t-shirts, hats, jackets and much more.

Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, which was formerly the home of Tequila Cowboy, has the largest outdoor patio on Broadway and also features two floors of live music daily.

“It’s pretty cool to finally have my own spot downtown where people can go and have a good time,” said Jason. “We’ve been working on this for a while and I’m looking forward to having everyone in town for CMA Music Fest help break it in.”

The country singer and his wife, Brittany Aldean, often visit Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar.

“Broadway Girls”

The location gained popularity in late 2021 when Lil Durk teamed up with Morgan Wallen to release the song “Broadway Girls” as they shoutout the bar within the lyrics.

“I met her down at Aldean’s,” they sing.

The song sparked a TikTok trend where people would dance along to the song and pose in front of Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar on Broadway.

At this time, it is unclear when Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, will open.

Highway Desperado Tour

Later this summer, Jason Aldean will embark on his 41-city headlining trek, dubbed the Highway Desperado Tour.

Produced by Live Nation, the Highway Desperado Tour will kick off on July 14 at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, NY, making stops across the U.S. in Atlanta, Charlotte, Phoenix and more before wrapping up in Tampa at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre on October 28.

Mitchell Tenpenny, Corey Kent and Dee Jay Silver will serve as support on the trek.

Additionally, Jason is also scheduled to perform at several festivals later this year, including Country Jam, Nebraskaland Days, Country Thunder Wisconsin, Tidalwave Festival and more.

The tour comes in support of his double album, Macon, Georgia. The project, which pays tribute to his hometown and serves as his tenth studio album, features 10 live tracks and 20 new originals, including the chart-topping hits “Trouble with a Heartbreak” and “If I Didn’t Love You” with Carrie Underwood as well as his current single “That’s What Tequila Does.”
