Country music superstar, Jason Aldean took to Instagram early Friday morning (Oct. 1) to share that he would never apologize for his strong political beliefs, unless support for his country, and most importantly, for his family’s actions.
“I will never apologize for my beliefs or my love for my family and country,” Aldean captioned a patriotic photo of himself. “This is the greatest country in the world, and I want to keep it that way. #unapologetic🇺🇸.”
The heated Instagram post follows the backlash that Aldean and his family received after supporting anti-Biden t-shirts. Earlier this week, Aldean spoke out to support his wife, Brittany Aldean and kids after receiving hate for wearing anti-Joe Biden clothing.
The first photo that created uproar was Brittany posing next to her A-list husband in a t-shirt that reads “Anti Biden Social Club.” The other photos she shared with her followers feature her children – Memphis (3) and Navy (2) wearing “Hidin’ from Bidden” tops.
The controversial apparel is sold on DaddyT45 – a company that sells several pro-Trump and anti-Biden pieces. The clothing company also has a line for individuals who are against the Coronavirus vaccine.
After the “She’s Country” artist shared the “unapologetic” remark, fans flooded the comments. “Nothing but respect for you. We need more people like you to stand up for what we believe in,” says an Instagram user. “I’m so happy someone is standing up for America!” shared another.
Country newcomer, HARDY even showed his support in the comment section, “You’re d—right.” HARDY recently joined Aldean on his “Back in the Saddle Tour” at his recent concert in Phoenix, Arizona.
While several Republicans and loyal Aldean fanatics admire his strength to stand up for what he believes, the beloved megastar continues to sell his political-inspired shirt on his merchandise line regardless of the recent criticism. Concert-goers could purchase the “Jason Aldean ’24 – Get the BS out of the US” tee at every merch table, or it is available for purchase on his website.
