Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have four collaborations together including their No. 1 hit “Nobody But You” and their latest duet “Happy Anywhere” and two others but will the superstar couple ever release a duets album together?
During a recent interview on The Bobby Bones Show, host Bobby Bones asked Shelton about the possibility of a duets album with his longtime girlfriend, Stefani, and well Shelton’s reply gives us some hope for it in the future just not right now.
When asked, Shelton said “I don’t think so,” but then followed that up with “Maybe at the end of 10 or 20 years here, we’ll have enough duets together that we can put ’em all together as a hits package. I don’t know.”
In fact, the country superstar said that he doesn’t even know if he will ever release another album.
“It’s hard for me, honestly,” Shelton explained. “The more and more time that goes by I’m starting to wonder why even do an album at all. I’m having a blast putting out singles. People just stream music now.”
Shelton says that he would “rather just record a bunch of music and release them all as singles.” Continuing to tell Bones “They don’t have to be radio promoted singles, just get music out there as soon as you can.”
The couple just released their newest duet “Happy Anywhere” which quickly became a fan-favorite track and followed the release of their No. 1 single “Nobody But You.”
