Could Jason Aldean be releasing a song with fellow country superstar Carrie Underwood?

The chart-topping superstar and Georgia native announced that a duet called “If I Didn’t Love You” is on the way, however, he didn’t reveal who he enlisted as the guest on the new track. 

Aldean shared a photo of himself alongside an empty green box with a question mark over it on Wednesday (July 21). In addition the photos, the graphic also includes the song’s name “If I Didn’t Love You” as well as his name and a blank space for the featured artist’s name, which he did not yet disclose. 

“We’ve got a brand new song coming your way this Friday! Who do y’all think is singing on this one with me?” Aldean captioned the social media post, asking fans to guess who they think is featured.

However, the Aldean Army is thinking that the guest on the upcoming new single is Underwood as one fan brighten the image, uncovering Underwood’s promo image behind the green overlay blur. See the below tweet.

Fans are showcasing their excitement in Aldean’s twitter replies, one even gushing “Omg the picture underneath shows Carrie’s face! Yay yay yay!!!”

While Underwood and Aldean have never recorded music together in the past, both of the country hitmakers have had many of duet partners. The two country superstars did however performed alongside each other in 2010 at CMA Festival in Nashville, performing Guns N’ Roses’ “Paradise City.”

Aldean has previously worked with Kelly Clarkson on their collaborative track “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” as well as Miranda Lambert (“Drowns The Whiskey”), Kelsea Ballerini (“First Time Again”), Tyler Farr (“Damn Good Friends”), Luke Bryan & Eric Church (“The Only Way I Know”) and more.

Underwood has worked with several superstar country singers for duets, including Keith Urban (“The Fighter”), Brad Paisley (“Remind Me”), Vince Gill (“How Great Thou Art”), Randy Travis (“I Told You So”), Willie Nelson (“Always On My Mind”), Tony Bennett (“It Had To Be You”) and more recently NEEDTOBREATHE (“I Wanna Remember”) in addition to many others.

“If I Didn’t Love You” is set to be released on Friday, July 23. The single will follow Aldean’s 25th No. 1 “Blame It On You.”
