New Kids On The Block singer, Donnie Wahlberg brought in the new year with generosity, making an IHOP servers year with his $2,020 tip. Wahlberg dined in IHOP in Illinois with his wife Jenny McCarthy and the total on their receipt reads $78.45 for their meals, in which Wahlberg generously tipped the new year of $2,020.

Wahlberg’s wife McCarthy shared the news with a photo of their receipt on Twitter saying, “starting 2020 off like the amazing man he is, #ihop #2020tipchallenge.”

Different country musicians including Chris Young, Tyler Rich, and more have participated in this current trend of being generous in the new year and tipping the cost of your bill. However, Wahlberg did just that then over 100% more tip to make it the same number as the new year of 2020.
