Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have collaborated on several duets, including “Go Ahead And Break My Heart,” “You Make It Feel Like Christmas,” as well as chart-toppers like “Nobody But You” and “Happy Anywhere.” Additionally, the power couple also released a cover of The Judds’ “Love Is Alive” and recently released a new duet titled “Purple Irises.”

Shelton and the No Doubt singer released their first duet, “Go Ahead And Break My Heart,” together in 2016. The couple shared their latest duet, “Purple Irises,” on February 14, 2024.

Will The Couple Ever Release A Duets’ Album?

The married couple have teased the idea of potentially releasing a full album of duets in the future. During a July 2020 interview with Bobby Bones on The Bobby Bones Show, Bones asked Shelton about the possibility of a duets’ album with Stefani, and well Shelton’s reply gave fans some hope for it in the future, just not right now.

When asked, Shelton said “I don’t think so,” but then followed that up with “Maybe at the end of 10 or 20 years here, we’ll have enough duets together that we can put ’em all together as a hits package. I don’t know.”

In December of 2022, the couple were asked if they would ever release a duets’ album together during a recent red-carpet event for The Voice’s live shows, and Shelton said “hell yes.” Upon hearing her husband’s answer, Stefani began to smile and clap, responding, “I was waiting to hear what he was going to say.”

“Yes, we’re going to [release a duets’ album],” Shelton reiterated, adding, “any day now, it’s coming out.”

The lovebirds have sang other duets together that weren’t their own, covering other artists songs on NBC’s The Voice. The pair have also shared the stage for live duets that include performances of No Doubt classics like “It’s My Life” and “Don’t Speak.”

Gwen Stefani hopes to one day team up with her husband, Blake Shelton, to reimagine Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton’s iconic duet, “Islands in the Stream,” according to TODAY. “That song would be my dream, if me and Blake could do that song together one day,” Stefani admitted at the time.

How Did Blake And Gwen Meet?

The beloved couple tied the knot after six years together during an intimate ceremony in front of their closest family and friends on July 3, 2021. The elegant Carson Daly-officiated ceremony took place inside a chapel on Shelton’s ranch, built exclusively for the superstar couple to say their “I Do’s.”

Shelton and Stefani got engaged in late October of 2020 in Shelton’s hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. They first met as coaches on NBC’s The Voice in 2014, following both of their public breakups. The superstar couple began dating in November 2015, just a year after working together as coaches on The Voice.
