HARDY and his wife, Caleigh Ryan Hardy, welcomed their first baby this year — a girl named Rosie Ryan Hardy. Their daughter, whose middle name offers a nod to her mama, was born on Sunday (March 7), weighing 9 pounds 2 ounces, as revealed in a post on social media.

HARDY Talks How Fatherhood Has Changed His Life

The “Luckiest Man Alive” singer has, undoubtedly, had to shift his priorities both in his personal and professional life to accommodate his growing newborn since becoming a first-time father in the Spring of 2025. But he says having to carve out extra time in his already jam-packed schedule has been nothing short of “amazing” because he knows “it’s just not about me anymore.”

“Oh, man. It’s amazing. It’s crazy that everything, like every decision I make, whether it’s can I go into the next room and take a phone call or do we go out? Can I play this many shows this year? It all revolves around my child now,” HARDY told Music Mayhem. “And in the best way, and it’s just not about me anymore.”

“And the same for my wife. It’s different, but I love it,” he added.

HARDY and Caleigh married in October of 2022, showcasing their love in snapshots and video clips online. Not long after tying the knot, HARDY shared his desire to have children, but previously told Taste of Country he was waiting for his wife to get on board. “We’re not trying yet, but hopefully soon,” he told the outlet, adding. “Because I’m ready to rock whenever she is.”

Praises His Wife Caleigh

Now that Caleigh has stepped into the role of momma to little Rosie, HARDY has seen a new nurturing side of her — one that he says is “fun to watch.” He applauds Caleigh for not only giving birth to their baby girl, but for transitioning into motherhood so seamlessly, showing him that she is capable of almost anything.

“I have just the most respect in the world for her,” HARDY said, praising his bride of nearly three years.

“Oh my God. I mean, I already have had the highest respect for her, but after watching what she went through to deliver our child and then now just knowing when it’s time to eat and things like that, and in the middle of the night when she’s the one that’s got to jump up and feed her and do all that kind of stuff… I have just the most respect in the world.”

“It’s a whole different level of respect for what she has to do,” he continued to tell Music Mayhem. “But also my wife handles it so gracefully and just, I guess, matter of fact and very just never complaining. I’ve never heard her once like, ‘Oh my God, she’s crying.’ It just is what it is kind of thing. And it’s amazing. It’s fun to watch. She’s a better human than me. She has a lot of patience, and I really praise that.”

Will Baby Rosie Hardy Join The Country Rock Star On The Road?

HARDY’s daughter was born less than three months ago, which means Caleigh has been holding down the fort since her superstar husband is back on the road. The country rocker launched his JIM BOB WORLD TOUR on May 22, taking, with him, a handful of opening acts, including Koe Wetzel, Stephen Wilson Jr., and McCoy Moore. But, he says, the likelihood of taking Rosie on his tour bus schedule is more promising for the future but “less than more” right now.

“She was here last night [on the opening night of the JIM BOB WORLD TOUR in California], but we don’t know,” HARDY revealed. “Her first show was yesterday, and navigating our schedules was a little difficult. So we’re not sure maybe how often she’s going to come on the road, but at some point, it’s just going to have to happen. So we’re going to last night was a good trial and error, but we’ll see. But it’s going to be less than more, I guess, if that makes sense.”

Even though Rosie won’t be joining her daddy out on the road full-time, she may get used to it later in life, given the fact that she is already a pro at sleeping through the night — something that could come in handy during long travels.

“She’s f***ing the cutest little kid ever, and she’s perfect,” HARDY beamed. “And we got extremely lucky. She sleeps eight hours a night already, and we’re the most blessed ever. She’s perfect.”

HARDY On Writing A Song For His Daughter Rosie Ryan HARDY

With his current phase of life, HARDY’s thoughts are inevitably consumed with his precious Rosie. So when he enters the writing room to pen his next song, many may assume he will focus on coming up with daddy-daughter-related material. But he says, “I just don’t want to force it.”

“This is such an artsy fartsy answer, but I don’t want to write 10 daddy-daughter songs and then just pick the best one and put it on my next album,” he explained. “I have a few ideas in my notes that I want, you know, like things I want to write, and I’m going to try. But I feel like when I have the one that’s like, okay, this is my song about being a dad or having a daughter or whatever that is, I’m going to know it. So the ideas are there for sure, but I’m not forcing anything, and I’m just going to write songs, and when it comes, it comes. And that’s the way I’m, kind of, looking at it right now.”

In the meantime, folks can enjoy HARDY’s latest collection of songs on his COUNTRY! EP. The five-track project, which includes songs “Buck On The Wall,” “Car That Drove You Away,” “Girl With A Gun,” “Luckiest Man Alive,” and “Favorite Country Song,” dropped on May 2 via Big Loud Records.
