HARDY (whose real name is Michael Hardy) and his wife, Caleigh Ryan, are technically still in the newlywed phase of their marriage. They just recently said their “I Do’s,” which means even today, they are likely receiving well-wishes on a happy life as husband and wife.
But perhaps the lovebirds haven’t gotten a message quite like This. It turns out Ozzy Osbourne took some time to share his excitement for HARDY and Ryan’s newfound status as man and wife.
“Michael and Caleigh. Congratulations to you both,” Osbourne told the spouses in what appears to be an unlikely video posted to Instagram. “I heard the wedding was a helluva party. Have a wonderful life together. Michael, those guitars are getting louder in your songs. So get fuc**** loud.”
HARDY and Ryan received the message and took to their respective Instagram pages to share the video and their reactions, with HARDY writing, “Thanks 😈 @ozzyosbourne.”

Now, HARDY is opening up about the unique clip from Osbourne.
In a new interview with Music Mayhem and other media outlets, HARDY, talked about the video, saying he was surprised to have received the gift from the English singer, who first rose to prominence as the frontman in the ‘70s heavy metal band Black Sabbath. So much so that he thought he was being pranked.
“It was a surprise to me as well. I have a really good friend that works for WWE ,and he was doing some content with Ozzy, and he just texted me,” HARDY explained. “I actually got the – I guess you would call it – behind-the-scenes video or whatever. Caleigh and I got it on our honeymoon. He said, but I couldn’t hold in the surprise. I wanted to show you this. And so they were doing a content day with Ozzy, and my buddy just slipped in an extra script at the end, and they put the video together. I have a pretty good relationship with WWE and those guys, and so they did something really cool for us.”
HARDY went on to say that while he enjoyed the sweet nod to his and Ryan’s nuptials, he has never actually established a relationship or spent time with Osbourne.
“Unfortunately, I don’t, personally, know Ozzy, but hopefully, one day, I’ll get to hang out with him,” HARDY said. “I mean, it was pretty fuc**** awesome. I’m not gonna lie. I had no idea. I didn’t even know that they were together or that they were doing a thing together or anything. So it was a complete shock. I felt like I was being pranked, or it was like CGI like, you know.”
HARDY and Ryan, who tied the knot on Saturday (Oct. 29) in front of 350 guests at Diamond Creek Farms in Nashville, Tenn., recently returned from their honeymoon. The pair ventured off to Thailand for their getaway.
