Tracy Lawrence hosted his wildly successful 17th Annual Mission: Possible Turkey Fry and Benefit Concert at the Nashville Fairgrounds on Nov. 22.

The philanthropist and country legend kicked off the event bright and early by helping fry a record-breaking 1,200 turkeys alongside more than 250 volunteers. The turkeys were distributed across Middle Tennessee, supplying 9,600 meals to community members who needed it most during the Thanksgiving holiday.

All hands were on deck for the incredible cause, including community leaders and star-studded names such as Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn, Senator Bill Hagerty, Nashville Mayor John Cooper, Phil Vassar, Deana Carter, Clint Black and Lee Greenwood.

Lawrence took the turkey fry to the next level as artists Gary Allan, Travis Denning, Alexandra Kay and Halfway Hazard joined the star for a sold-out benefit show at Wildhorse Saloon. The concert broke another record, raising $250,000 for the event’s long-time partner, the Nashville Rescue Mission. Since its creation, Mission:Possible Turkey Fry and Benefit Concert has now given over 73,000 meals to the homeless throughout Middle Tennessee and raised more than $850,000 for Nashville Rescue Mission.

“Yesterday was an incredible day from start to finish,” Lawrence shared following the event. “To step back and think about how this started as just a few friends and a dozen fryers in a parking lot — to what it is now — is truly incredible. There are so many people that go into this event and I’m just so grateful we can all come together and support this cause.”

Last year’s event on Nov. 23 raised $175,000 for Nashville Rescue Mission, marking the most successful Mission:Possible fundraising event to date.

Watch clips from Lawrence’s 16th annual MISSION:POSSIBLE Turkey Fry that featured country hitmakers Dustin Lynch, Lainey Wilson and Michael Ray below.

The double-platinum artist’s annual Turkey Fry stage has featured some of country music’s biggest names in the past, including Tim McGraw, Luke Combs, Chris Young, Lainey Wilson, Justin Moore and Cole Swindell.

Due to the overwhelming success of the annual Turkey Fry and Benefit Concert series, in 2020 Mission:Possible launched another annual fundraiser: the Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament. To date, the springtime event has raised over $800,000 for Middle Tennessee homeless charities. Lawrence hand-delivered the donations to deserving causes including Safe Haven, Oasis and Jesus Provisions Ministries. Kid Rock, Charles Kelley, Jake Owen, Jordan Davis, HARDY, ERNEST, Deana Carter, Mitchell Tenpenny, Jamey Johnson, Colt Ford, John Daly, Brett Hull and Rex Ryan are past attendees of the event.

In addition to Lawrence’s massive charity efforts, the “Paint Me A Birmingham” singer recently wrapped up his 6-date tour alongside Clay Walker, with support from Alexandra Kay. The mini stint began on Nov. 3 in Norfolk, VA and came to a close on Nov. 12 in Macon, GA.

Lawrence and Walker couldn’t wait to share the stage once again, and already announced their 2023 5-date tour. The pair will hit the road with their first performance on March 9 in Shreveport, LA. The country icons will take venues in Oklahoma, New England, Colorado and Arizona by storm before wrapping the tour up on March 18.
