Gabby Barrett has already won two Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) ahead of tonight’s award ceremony.

On Sunday, May 23, Barrett took home her first-ever Billboard Music Awards including for Top Country Song for “I Hope” and Top Collaboration for her “I Hope” collaboration with Charlie Puth.

First-time nominee Barrett is among the top BBMAs honorees, scoring nine nods, which made her the top nominated female artist. In addition to nominations within country-specific categories, the superstar also earned nods within the all-genre categories, including Top New Artist and Top Hot 100 song.

 

Hosted by Nick Jonas, the 2021 BBMAs will air live from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, May 23 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on NBC.
