Gabby Barrett’s debut single “I Hope” is sitting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart for the fifth consecutive week.
The song’s music video has amassed over 61.3 million views since its release and the song continues to dominate radio across the globe. The track previously topped the Country Airplay chart for a week in April.
“I Hope” allowed Barrett to make history becoming the first female to top the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart with a debut solo single since Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus, Take The Wheel” hit No. 1.
Barrett’s “I Hope” Charlie Puth remix sits at No. 10 on the Adult Contemporary airplay chart, No. 11 on Adult Pop Songs and No. 12 on Pop Songs.
“What an amazing journey this song has taken me on,” Barrett told Billboard. “I feel so blessed and excited that fans are still loving and listening to it. I am so grateful.”
“I Hope” appears on her debut album, Goldmine, and is co-written by Barrett alongside Zach Kale and Jon Nite.
Barrett recently announced the news that her and her husband Cade Foehner are expecting a baby girl in early 2021.
