Four-time Grammy nominee Elle King proves she’s not a one trick pony with the upcoming release of her new album, Come Get Your Wife, a 12-track country project dropping January 27.

After securing both Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Awards, breaking records for women on radio charts with megahit “Drunk (And I Don’t Want To Go Home)” and collaborating with iconic country artists including Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert and Ashley McBryde, the edgy singer seems unstoppable since she entered the country music scene.

Co-produced by King with Ross Copperman, Come Get Your Wife touches on various topics from being a hot mess to a woman coming into her own, evoking a whirlwind of emotions from listeners.

“Even the album title, it comes from something some asshole said to my partner one night. Something thrown off in a bar, intended to put me in my place… and he probably didn’t think twice about it. But I did,” shared King.

“Thanks for the album title, babe 😉 Each track comes from influences of all genres, and I now know country music is where I belong,” she added in an Instagram post.

Never one to back down from a challenge, King shows just how musically and personally fearless she is. By combining rock, soul, (blue)grass and country, the edgy singer creates a record that encompasses how alive and electric she truly is, demanding listeners’ attention.

“There’s something about how you put the pieces together,” said King of her first true country project. “This whole album is a crazy quilt of all sorts of moments and things that might not seem to go together, but because they’re me, they do. It’s very Southern Ohio, very who we are – and very much a lot of people who are just like me, because I know they’re out there.”

The highly anticipated project includes collaborations with iconic country stars Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley.
