Chris Stapleton suddenly postponed the kickoff of the 2025 leg of his highly anticipated All-American Road Show tour after “critical pieces” of the tour production were “damaged” en route to the first show in Greenville, South Carolina.
The country superstar issued a statement on social media on Sunday afternoon (June 1), revealing the unfortunate news with his fans.
“Critical pieces of our tour production were damaged beyond repair while en route to Greenville. Unfortunately, without that equipment, we are unable to put on the show,” Stapleton revealed on social media. “Greenville, we appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We look forward to seeing you on July 9.”
The show, which was slated to take place on June 4 in South Carolina, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, July 9. According to Stapleton’s social media post, “All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. For those unable to attend the rescheduled date, please contact your point of purchase. Refund requests through Ticketmaster must be submitted by Tuesday, June 24.”
Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show is now expected to launch at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia on Friday, June 6. The trek is expected to visit states such as Michigan, North Carolina, New York, Utah, Indiana and more, before concluding on October 10 at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida.
Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Marcus King, Nikki Lane, Grace Potter, Maggie Rose, Brittney Spencer, Allen Stone, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives and The War & Treaty will join Stapleton as support on select dates.

The 47-year-old Kentucky native is also currently on the road with George Strait on their historic 2025 Stadium tour. “I love George’s shows. There’s nothing to compare it to,” Stapleton previously shared of Strait. “I love doing these shows with George, probably more than anything. It’s really fun. It feels like a good thing all the way around. And, when the fans are winning, we’re winning.”
Stapleton and Strait have three dates remaining on the stadium trek, including Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium (June 14), Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium (June 21) and Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium (July 19).

Additionally, Chris Stapleton will take the stage at several festivals this summer, including Healing Appalachia and Boots On The Bayou.
