When it comes to music concerts, there’s no telling what the crowd will be like. And musicians and artists of all genres sometimes become the target of bad apples in the audience. Chris Stapleton, known to be a sweet and mild-mannered person, is the latest example of that.

During his performance at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts, on Saturday (June 10), as part of his ongoing All-American Road Show Tour, Stapleton was not afraid to speak his mind after a couple of revelers tried to ruin the entire show for everyone else.

Two Fans Fighting In The Audience

A video shared to Twitter shows the moment where things got out of hand thanks to two hecklers, who were causing an unwelcome disruption by fighting with each other in the audience and booing the Grammy-winning artist and reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year from the first few rows. Knowing that the moment was unfair to the rest of the concertgoers, who had worked hard all week to spend their hard-earned money on tickets to the show, Stapleton didn’t hesitate to call out and shut down the attendees.

After he and his wife Morgane caught wind of the two’s antics, the 45-year-old burly-bearded country crooner briefly pulled a plug on his performance and had security escort the persons out of the arena. That moment can be seen in the Twitter clip below.

“Get The Hell Out”

“These people paid good money to have a good time,” Stapleton said, speaking directly to the hecklers. “You did too, and if this is what you think is a good time, get the hell out.”

Morgane also commented, “This is silly,” over the microphone.

Stapleton and Morgane’s rush to clear the concert of any brawls certainly delighted fans as they cheered for him following the incident. And it didn’t take long for Stapleton to jump right back into his set list, beginning with the tune “Starting Over.”

People throwing beer cans onstage, getting into fist-fights, and causing a ruckus is nothing new at concerts, and it’s nice to see that artists like Stapleton are ready to take action to continue to put on a great show for folks who just want to enjoy themselves without interruption.

Recently Forced To Postpone Concert In New York Due To Dangerous Air Quality

The latest disruption comes just days after Stapleton was forced to postpone his June 8th concert at the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse, New York, due to bad air quality coming from the devastating wildfire smoke that has made its way to the US from Canada, as reported by CNN.com

“Due to the ongoing air conditions in the greater Syracuse area, tomorrow night’s show at @StJosephsAmp will be rescheduled. All previously purchased tickets for the original date will be honored for the new date,” Stapleton shared in a statement on Twitter. “We expect to have an update by mid-day June 9th.”

Stapleton’s All-American Road Show tour, which kicked off on April 26 at the UTEP Don Haskins Center in El Paso, TX, has since picked back up. The trek is scheduled to make stops in cities including Denver, Baltimore, Nashville, Toronto, Memphis, Houston, Austin, and more before wrapping in Dallas on Oct. 28.
