Chris Lane feels like the luckiest man in the world! The country singer recently noticed a heartwarming gesture made by his wife, Lauren Lane, that she didn’t intend for him to see.

In a video posted on Instagram, Lane shared that his wife had spent an evening cleaning out a handful of teachers wish lists.

Proud of his bride’s giving spirit, the country crooner raved over Lauren’s kind heart and shared a sweet caption that included the words: “Having a proud husband moment as I do often, but wanted the world to know how lucky I am! 🙏🏻.”

Chris Lane Told His Followers About Lauren’s Kind Gesture

In the clip shown above, Lane tells his followers that he is planning on updating his social media pages more often. Then, he shared details of how he happened upon Lauren’s evening of giving.

“Whatsapp, y’all from rainy Nashville. I know I don’t get on here like I used to, but all that’s about to change. Hallelujah!” Lane began. “But I wanted to jump on here today because I’m having a proud husband moment. My wife’s going to murder me for making this video because she never wants any acknowledgment ever. But, I want to give [her] some.”

“Last night, I jumped into bed and was just looking over her shoulder. I saw her clearing Amazon wish lists for tons of teachers, and I just found that to be the sweetest thing in the entire world,” he continued, showering the former Bachelor contestant with compliments. “I’m not surprised because I feel like she’s constantly always trying to help somebody. She just has the sweetest soul, sweetest heart, and I just feel like the luckiest man in the world that I like was able to marry such a sweet soul. And I wanted you all to know.”

“😩😩😩😩😩 me texting you to bring my wallet so I could do more but still be in bed 😂 love you so much this made me cry 💔💔💔💔,” she captioned.

Chris And Lauren Lane Got Married In 2019

Indeed, when it comes to marriage, even the little things count. And Lane and Lauren seem to know that to be true by keeping an eye on those moments when it comes to each other.

The couple, who share two sons, Dutton and Baker, met and became friends in 2015 at a radio event in Austin, TX. Three years later, their friendship turned romantic, and in 2019, they tied the knot in a “secret garden” wedding.

“We make a great team,” Lane told PEOPLE. “Having a kid is a lot of work, and I feel like you have to have a great partner or it’s easy to see how it would not work out — it becomes too stressful. I’ve just realized that Lauren and I are literally a perfect fit for each other.”

Recently Signed A New Record Deal With Red Street Records

Lane’s latest social media post comes after he announced that he has signed a new record deal with Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus’ Red Street Records. The partnership between Red Street and Chris’ Voyager Records signals the beginning of a new era of music for Lane following his exit from Big Loud Records.

“I was looking for the right partner for my new music and venture Voyager Records, and found it in Red Street Records,” Lane shared in a press release. “Not only is Red Street an artist-driven label that supports my vision for music, but Jay DeMarcus has been and continues to be a great friend.”
