Chayce Beckham’s fisherman dreams have come true!

On Friday (July 9), the 2021 American Idol winner was able to purchase his first real bass fishing boat, and luckily for fans he documented the entire journey via his Instagram. He purchased a ProTeam 175 TXW Tournament Edition bass boat and he couldn’t be more thrilled as he even admitted his fisherman dreams have come true.

“So, anybody who knows me knows how much I love fishing and how much time I spend out on the water. For years I’ve wanted to get like an actual nice bass boat and I’ve just obviously never had the money to do it,” Beckham explained in an Instagram story. “And thanks to the good over at Tracker and the good people at Bass Pro, I finally got my first real bass boat and I couldn’t be more excited.”

Later adding, “I’m losing my mind, it’s got everything I’ve ever wanted on it and I’m just like feeling like a little kid right now. I’m super ecstatic and thanks to [inaudible], [inaudible] you know who you are, love you, wouldn’t of been able to get this boat without you. Yeah, God is good, life is good.”

Beckham continued to share some old photos of boats he used to use before securing his new bass fishing boat.

“My best bud Sherm just sent me this, when we started bass fishing this was our rig. Started from the bottom,” Beckham captioned the image alongside some laughing emojis and the hashtag #WalmartSeahawk.

He also shared another “jonboat” memory which they called “theSwampDonk2020” and another image of Beckham a few years back with a huge bass on one of those boats, which he captioned “gunna miss my jonboat fishin.”

The Apple Valley native ended the series of clips with a video of him sitting on his new boat, which was attached to his new truck’s hitch, in his driveway, while listening to Luke Combs’ “Beer Never Broke My Heart.”

Following his documentation of his new boat purchase via his Instagram stories, Beckham shared a feed post with a photo of himself and the new bass fishing boat.

“Huge thanks to the good people at Bass Pro Shops and Tracker Boats for getting me set up with this ProTeam 175 TXW Tournament Edition bass boat,” Beckham captioned the photo of himself and his new boat.

Beckham continued, “If you know me you know I’m addicted to fishin so this is exactly what I needed to keep me busy/ out of trouble when I’m not workin’ or touring. I’ve wanted a boat like this for years but never thought it would be possible. This is a huge accomplishment for me as a fisherman, and just as a man in general. I’ve waited for a long time for this, and I’m so very grateful.”

Additionally, over the past few weeks/months Beckham has been seen fishing with country superstar Jimmie Allen and Luke Bryan, although his fishing trip with Bryan seemed to be cut short by a rain storm.

Beckham is set to hit the road for a few shows with 3 Doors Down later this summer.
