The 2021 American Idol winner accepted the American Reality Television Award (ARTAS) for Outstanding Judging Panel in the name of Bryan, Perry and Richie, after Brian Austin Green presented the award.

“What’s going on everybody, It’s Chayce Beckham the winner of season 4 of American Idol,” Beckham said in an acceptance speech in a video clip, while fishing on a lake. “And I’m accepting the award of Outstanding Judging Panel on behalf of our three judges, Katy, Luke and Lionel.”

The songwriter and Apple Valley native’s taped acceptance speech went on to thank everyone who watches the popular singing competition show as well as the judges for helping his success.

Beckham continued, “And just want to say thank you to everybody who made the show happen this year, and especially the three judges, who made it super special for me and gave me an opportunity to start my career and really enjoy what I’m doing with my life. So thank you everybody, thanks to the three judges and we’re super happy to have this award.”

You can watch Beckham accept the award in the below clip at the 3:58 mark.

Beckham, who recently moved to Nashville, is currently hard at work on his debut album, following the success of his debut single “23.” The singer also has been using his spare time to take to the lake on his or his friend’s fishing boats and has even been seen fishing with country superstar Jimmie Allen.

Hosted by Dancing With The Stars alum Kel Mitchell, the eighth annual American Reality Television Awards aired virtually on Thursday, July 7 via YouTube.

Additionally, Beckham is set to hit the road for a few shows with 3 Doors Down later this summer.
