Additionally, Carrie Underwood just wrapped the fall leg of her Denim & Rhinestones Tour, which kicked off on Saturday, October 15 in Greenville, South Carolina, and currently runs through March 17 in Seattle, Washington.
Underwood’s tour is in support of her latest record, Denim & Rhinestones, which arrived on June 10, 2022, via Capitol Records Nashville. The 12 track project features her latest single “Hate My Heart,” the project’s lead single “Ghost Story,” as well as fan-favorite tracks such as “Pink Champagne,” “Crazy Angels,” and “Velvet Heartbreak.”
“We cover a lot of ground on this album,” Underwood previously shared in a press release. ”We have a lot of songs that have a bit of a ‘throwback’ feel, but they sound super fresh. I grew up listening to so many different kinds of music and that is extremely evident in this body of work.”
“These are musical influences that are all in me and work their way out, and I just decided this time not to get in their way,” the hitmaker added. “I think this whole album ended up being a big reflection of me as a person and as an artist.”
Denim & Rhinestones is the follow-up to 2018’s Cry Pretty. Since then, Underwood also released a Christmas album, My Gift, in 2020, and a Gospel album, My Savior, in 2021.
The Oklahoma native will return to the road for her Denim & Rhinestones Tour in February of 2023. Following the trek, Underwood will return to Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas for her residency in the Summer of 2023.
