Carrie Underwood is getting in on the “Teenage Dirtbag” social media trend!

The country superstar took to TikTok over the weekend to share several rare photos of her adolescent years, including snapshots of her sporting braces on her teeth, pictures from what appears to be a glamour shots photo session, and even a photo from her graduation day where she has two black eyes.

“As someone who was a teenager when this song was actually on the radio…enjoy the awkwardness… Also, I did, indeed, graduate with the black eyes (senior school trip softball mishap),” she captioned the post.

Fans were introduced to Carrie Underwood when she was just 21 years old on Season 4 of American Idol in 2004. During the season, the Oklahoma native covered songs such as “I Can’t Make You Love Me” by Bonnie Raitt, “Independence Day” by Martina McBride, “Bless The Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts, and “Because You Love Me” by Jo Dee Messina.

She went on to win the competition and is now one of the show’s most successful alumni of all time. The eight-time GRAMMY winner has sold more than 66 million records worldwide, recorded 28 No.1 singles, and has seven albums that are certified Platinum or Multi-Platinum by the RIAA.

Underwood recently revealed that she will be returning to Sunday Night Football for the tenth year. The much-anticipated show-open will make its debut during the first SNF event of the season when the Dallas Cowboys face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The Oklahoma native released her new album, Denim & Rhinestones, earlier this summer. Denim & Rhinestones was released on June 10 and features 12 new tracks. Included on the project is her latest single, “Ghost Story,” as well as instant fan favorites like “Crazy Angels,” “Pink Champagne,” and “Velvet Heartbreak.”

This fall, Underwood will embark on a massive headlining trek, dubbed the Denim & Rhinestones Tour, which kicks off on October 15 in Greenville, South Carolina.

The 43-city trek features Jimmie Allen and will run through March 17, 2023.

Underwood will donate $1 from each ticket sold to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org), which has been helping America’s heroes since 9/11 by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building custom-designed smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. The Foundation is also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and aiding the victims of major U.S. disasters.

Tickets for the Denim & Rhinestones Tour are on sale now HERE.
