Carrie Underwood is sharing her leg workout with fans.
Underwood recently revealed that she’s adapted her leg workout so that fans can exercise at home regardless of fitness level.
“Hey guys, it’s leg day for me and I wanted to let you all know some exciting news,” Underwood said in a video she posted to her Instagram account. “People are always asking me about my leg workouts and my actual leg workouts are coming to the Fit52 app. We’ve adapted them so they can work for any fitness level and they are coming really soon,” she shared.
Underwood launched the Fit52 app back in 2020. The app was released prior to the “Crazy Angels” singer’s fitness and lifestyle book, FIND YOUR PATH: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life.
“Fitness is a true passion for me,” Underwood said of the Fit52 app launch at the time. “The fit52 app incorporates what I’ve been doing myself for years, and we’ve made it easy and totally accessible for anyone that wants help to work in working out.”
We worked really hard to create a high-quality, user-friendly app that is designed for busy people and their busy lives. Fit52 meets you wherever you are on your health journey, and I’m so proud of it.”
In addition to Underwood’s exciting announcement via her Instagram, the Fit52 also shared a promo video for her upcoming leg workout. “Sign up for the app *now* to be notified when the workout drops,” the video’s caption read.
Underwood’s leg workout became available via the Fit52 app on Aug. 15. App users who are interested in learning more about the workout can try it out for free on a 14-day trial, according to a post from Fit52’s Instagram.
Underwood’s long-time trainer, Eve Overland, also gave fans more insight into the country singer’s leg workout during an April conversation with SHAPE.
“[Carrie] likes to stick with the basics because they work,” Overland explained. “Lateral band walks, leg press machine [reps], hamstring curls, and cable straight leg kickbacks are a few gotos because of the great pump they give you,” she said.
Overland also told the magazine that Underwood completes three supersets “with two to three exercises in each” using dumbbells, a Bosu ball, and weight plates.

The Oklahoma native released her new album, Denim & Rhinestones, earlier this summer. Denim & Rhinestones was released on June 10 and features new 12 tracks. Included on the project is her latest single, “Ghost Story,” as well as instant fan favorites like “Crazy Angels,” “Pink Champagne,” and “Velvet Heartbreak.”
This fall, Underwood will embark on a massive headlining trek, dubbed the Denim & Rhinestones Tour, which kicks off on October 15 in Greenville, South Carolina.
The 43-city trek features Jimmie Allen and will run through March 17, 2023.
Underwood will donate $1 from each ticket sold to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org), which has been helping America’s heroes since 9/11 by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building custom-designed smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. The Foundation is also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and aiding the victims of major U.S. disasters.
