Bunnie XO and Jelly Roll are ready to expand their family, with Bunnie revealing in her new memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, that she and the country superstar have found a surrogate and plan to have her carry twins.

The couple married in 2016, and Bunnie wrote that “Now that we’re finally stable financially and somewhat emotionally after all the healing we’ve done over this decade together, we’re talking about the future—including growing our family.” The Dumb Blonde Podcast host revealed that she and Jelly Roll have a surrogate, “the sweetest woman ever, and soon I’ll be starting my IVF stims.”

IVF stimulation is part of the process of in vitro fertilization in which hormonal injections are given in an effort to prompt the ovaries to increase the number of mature eggs with the goal of retrieving the maximum number of eggs.

Bunnie confirmed that she and Jelly Roll have hopes for their surrogate to carry twins. “With how much IVF has advanced over the years,” she explained, “and with the help of the most unselfish woman willing to carry twins for us, we’ll be able to make our baby dreams come true.”

Bunnie XO is already stepmom to Jelly Roll‘s two children, daughter Bailee Ann, 17, and son Noah Buddy, 9, both of whom he welcomed with previous partners. She told fans in her book that she has “waited this long to have kids with someone I knew would be a great father— and to be able to make sure they have the best life.” While she knows that “some people frown upon our decision to bring babies into this world at our age,” Bunnie wrote that she “could give a f—.”

“We’re going to raise these babies in love and give them everything we were never given,” she wrote. “I can’t wait to see a piece of me and him running around outside of our bodies.”

The 46-year-old’s fertility journey has been going on for some time, beginning in 2019 when Bunnie learned that her “fallopian tubes were blocked.” “I would need surgery,” she wrote, “and that still wouldn’t guarantee I’d be able to carry a baby.”

Bunnie XO and Jelly Roll began sharing their IVF journey with fans in 2024, when Jelly Roll appeared on an episode of the Bussin’ with the Boys Podcast and revealed that he and his wife were talking about having a child. Reposting the clip on Instagram, Bunnie wrote that while the couple had “planned on doing this privately,” they ultimately “decided our IVF journey needed to be shared because we’ve always been so open. And w/all odds stacked against us, it’s already been hard & we have only just begun.”

She further opened up in a new interview with PEOPLE, sharing that she wants to use the challenges she has faced to inspire others who may be going through something similar.

“I don’t know if it’s that I did or if I didn’t choose it, but I think before we come here, we choose our life path, and we yearn for the pain that we go through,” she said. “And I genuinely think that having those abortions when I was younger [and] the journey that I’m going on now with IVF [is] God’s putting me through this again, so that I can be a voice for those women who are going through this process.”

Adding that IVF is “one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through,” she applauded other women doing the same. “And there are women out there that are doing 10 to 15 egg retrievals,” she said. “They are freaking warriors. My hat goes off to these women, and they’re just such a cool community,” she shared. “So God is… Everything happens for a reason. It always comes around full circle.”
