Bunnie XO is adding author to her list of titles, releasing her first book, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, on February 17, 2026, via Harper Collins Publishers, and her husband Jelly Roll is praising her.
In a new interview with Extra to promote Netflix’s reboot of Star Search, Bunnie XO’s husband, Jelly Roll, was asked about “how proud” he is of his wife, to which the country star responded with an emphatic “I’m so proud of her.”
“I couldn’t be more proud of anybody than my wife Bunnie,” he said. “What she’s doing for the world. She’s sharing her testimony with the world in her book [Stripped Down] coming up soon. Going on her first book tour.”
Jelly Roll serves as a judge on the newly-relaunched talent competition alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar and Chrissy Teigen. The show films in Los Angeles, and the country star joked that his wife is “so busy” and that he was asking her “Can I please get you for one of these [Star Search tapings]?”
“So my wife was like, ‘Yeah, I’m going to make it to this one.’ I forgot which one it was because I’m a whatever,” he continued. “But she’s going to make one for sure. She’ll be here in the next week or two.”

Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic is described as the story of how Bunnie XO “rose to the top” and her journey “from the trailer parks of Vegas to the mansions of Nashville.” Along with her own life story, the book is also a message to “anyone who needs advice on breaking their own cycles” and readers “who need a little saving themselves.”
Jelly Roll previously praised his wife’s new project in a comment on Instagram, writing, “I am so proud of you and the work you put into the project. You were so vulnerable in this book and even shared parts of the story I thought would never be told. Proud of you, this book is going to help so many women find peace. Love you.”
Bunnie XO told PEOPLE in a statement that the book is “the rawest reflection of who I am in every form.” “I’ve always considered myself an open book, so when it came time to pour my heart into chapters, it only felt natural to write about what I know best — my journey, my perspective and the grit that’s carried me through,” she said.

The Dumb Blonde podcast host added, “This book is heartbreak and healing, trauma and triumph, love and betrayal — it’s the ashes I’ve risen from, stitched together with the lessons that shaped me into the woman I am today.”
Her book tour will begin on February 16 in New York City with stops in Nashville (2/22) and Los Angeles (2/25) before concluding on February 26 in Bunnie XO’s hometown of Las Vegas. She previously told Music Mayhem that she’s “unbelievably nervous” about the tour but is “thankful & appreciative of how amazing the pre-sales for the book have been to put me in this position.”

As for what attendees will experience, the 45-year-old joked that “regular book tours scare me” and that she doesn’t want a “stuffy, boring book tour.” “Just kept it raw and real, like I have with everything the past 20 years online,” she said.
