Miranda Lambert‘s husband Brendan McLoughlin is one of her biggest fans!

While accompanying the 39-year-old “If I Was a Cowboy” singer to this year’s GRAMMY Awards, McLoughlin said he “fans out” to his superstar wife’s music.

“Do you fan out on her music like we do?” Entertainment Tonight’s Nischelle Turner asked McLoughlin during an interview with the couple on the red carpet.

“You know what, I actually do fan out, but now I actually pay more attention to the lyrics, so I’m like, ‘wow, this song really says something. I never really listened to it until we got married,’” McLoughlin responded. “You know songs for her now mean so much to me. It’s great,” he continued.

“I love that,” Turner said. “He’s got a heart, doesn’t he?” Lambert smiled, adding, “I did good.”

“Another ‘Dead Flowers’ Fan”

Of course, this year’s Grammy Awards was not the first time McLoughlin shared what he thought of his wife, Lambert’s music. During a September 2022 interview with Vulture, Lambert revealed that her husband’s favorite song of hers is “Dead Flowers.”

Lambert actually called her husband, who is a former NYPD officer, and put him on speakerphone after the outlet asked which song of hers he likes best.

“What is your favorite song of mine?” Lambert asked him.

“Probably the one that you showed me that was a deep cut of yours. ‘Dead Flowers,’” McLoughlin shared.

”Well, lookee there. We have another ‘Dead Flowers’ fan,” Lambert told the outlet at the time. “We just talked about ‘Dead Flowers.’ That’s why it’s funny that you said that. The one that got away.”

“He’s always like, ‘I like the ones you write by yourself,’” Lambert explained, taking the phone off speaker. “I’m like, ‘Of course you do, because it’s hard for me.’”

Miranda Lambert And Brendan McLoughlin Have Been Married For 4 Years

Besides sharing which song of Lambert’s is his favorite, McLoughlin also recently shared a sweet milestone with his country superstar wife: celebrating four years of marriage.

Back in January, the “If I Was a Cowboy” singer posted a series of photos of her and her husband to mark the occasion, including a shot of him kissing her cheek while she raised four fingers.

“Celebrating 4 years married today with my main squeeze @brendanjmcloughlin,” Lambert wrote on Instagram, adding ring and pink heart emojis to her caption. “Happy anniversary babe! You are the best.”

“Y’all are welcome for the last two pics,” she joked, referencing two photos of McLoughlin shirtless.

McLoughlin posted his own anniversary tribute to Lambert on his Instagram, writing, “4 years down and a lifetime to go.” The pair celebrated four years of being married with a tropical getaway.

“An Honor To Be called Your Husband

McLoughlin previously paid tribute to Lambert on Nov. 10, her 39th birthday. The 29-year-old former NYPD officer posted a carousel of photos of him and the country singer to Instagram, saying what an honor it is to be her husband.

“Another year and another birthday. Happy Birthday, @mirandalambert,” he said. “It’s always an honor to be called your husband. You’re the most beautiful person inside and out. You have the biggest heart and show it every day through your love for others and animals,” the caption continued.

McLoughlin also showed his support for Lambert when she kicked off her Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas Residency, telling ET Onlines Cassie DiLaura he’d be watching his wife “do what she does best every single night.”

McLoughlin and Lambert met in 2018 when he was still a police officer and she was promoting Interstate Gospel, her then-album with the Pistol Annies, on Good Morning America.
