Jake Hoot and his wife Brittney Hoyt Hoot are expecting their first child together.
The country singer and winner of NBC’s The Voice revealed the exciting news on Tuesday, March 22, via an Instagram video.
In the clip, Hoot’s daughter, Macy, from a prior relationship, and his wife Brittney hold up signs to reveal the news of their new bundle of joy, who is expected to arrive later this year.
“Life was sweet, you made it sweeter. If life was complete you made it completer. We didn’t know just how much we needed you, Baby Hoot, comin’ soon,” Hoot, who was seated on the edge of the couple’s bed, sang in the clip as the lyrics are written on the signs that were held up by Brittney and Macy.
Hoot and his wife Brittney recently celebrated their 1-year wedding anniversary with the release of a brand-new duet, “Wherever Time Goes.”
The couple tied the knot during an elegant, rustic farm wedding on March 7, 2021, at the majestic country-styled Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Hoot and Brittney initially met as wedding singers at their best friend’s wedding about eight years ago, where they sang “When God Made You” together during the first dance. The couple got engaged on September 20, 2020, during a trip to Brittney’s hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. Hoot surprised his now wife, by getting down on a bended knee in front of her closest family and his mother, Stacey.
The beloved country couple have shared several covers together and fans have grown to adore their relationship.
