Blake Shelton revealed he and Gwen Stefani‘s first dance song for their wedding!

During Shelton’s late night appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Shelton revealed two songs that he knows will be played at his wedding; the very first song of the day and he and Stefani’s first dance song choice.

After Fallon asked Shelton “what’s your first song? Can you tell me?,” Shelton told Fallon the first song to be played at their wedding, “I think it’s called ‘The Wedding March.’”

“Not the processional, I want the…” Fallon said. “at the reception, you come out of a fog machine and it goes here is Mr. & Mrs. Blake Shelton, we hear you come out and now time for the first dance, the couples first dance, then what do we hear?”

The “Minimum Wage” singer then revealed that for their first dance, they chose a song from the Pretty In Pink soundtrack.

“It’s If You Leave’ from the Pretty In Pink soundtrack,” Shelton unveiled to Fallon. “I swear I have it right here,” Shelton said before showing Fallon the song on his phone. “We’ve talked about this, we both love the song. We’re both fans of the ’80s, why not, why not.”

“If You Leave” is a song by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, that was recorded in 1986 for the soundtrack to Pretty In Pink, the song played prominently during the final scene of the film.

After Fallon seeks out an invite to Shelton and Stefani’s big day and being unsure if his invite got lost in the mail, Shelton joked “well, actually I consider you a part of my NBC family. So you’re grouped into that when it says that.”

During the show, Shelton also talked about his upcoming new album, Body Language, his just-announce tour plans and The Voice two-night finale.

Shelton and Stefani got engaged back in late October in Shelton’s hometown of Oklahoma.

They first met as coaches on NBC’s The Voice in 2014, following both of their breakups. The superstar couple began dating in November 2015, just a year after working together as coaches on The Voice. In June 2020, Us Weekly reported that Stefani wants to marry Shelton when the world is back to normal.

The couple has gone on to release four duets together throughout their relationship thus far. The superstar pair also brought a house together recently.

No official date has been unveiled yet for their wedding but according to several sources, it’s expected this summer.
