Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are officially married!
After six years together, the country superstar, 45, and No Doubt singer, 51, have officially tied the knot during an intimate ceremony in front of their closest family and friends. The Carson Daly-officiated ceremony took place inside a chapel on Shelton’s ranch in Oklahoma, built exclusively for the superstar couple to say their “I Do’s.”
The couple’s nuptials not only mean that their married, but it also means that Shelton is officially a stepdad to Stefani’s three children, sons, Kingston, 15, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 7, who Stefani shares with ex-husband and BUSH frontman, Gavin Rossdale.
While Shelton doesn’t have any children of his own, he has taken Stefani’s sons under his wing and quickly became one of the best “bonus dads” to her children when the couple started dating back in 2016.
The country superstar has previously admitted to the TODAY show in July 2020 that taking on a major role in Stefani’s children’s lives was “scary” at first, but Stefani admitted to the same outlet that Shelton is “a good dad, actually,” later adding, “[Shelton has] been helping me out a lot, so I literally get to the point where I’m like, ‘You gotta get home, I need help.’ It’s hard. I got three boys.”
Shelton previously revealed in an interview with The Ride With Kimo and Heather in early 2021, that while it hasn’t been very easy, he has taken some inspiration from his own stepfather.
“There’s definitely nothing easy about it, I don’t know if it’s as hard as or harder then being an actual biological parent,” Shelton explained to the radio station. “I have a stepfather in my life, and he’s one of my heroes… I love my stepfather, and I look up to him. And he’s like a father to me,” Shelton said. “So, you know, I have a good inspiration in my life [for] how to do this and the kind of stepdad [that] I want to be and I take it very serious but also have a blast with it.”
The Oklahoma native went on to previously share that now that he and Stefani are so many years into their relationship, he can’t imagine not having her kids in his life.
“Now that we’re five years into this thing, I can’t imagine my life without these kids now,” The Voice coach said proudly.
Days after their much-anticipated wedding day, the newlyweds have been sharing photos of their elegant special day. On Wednesday (July 7), Stefani shared a gorgeous photo by Jeremy Bustos, who photographed the couple’s wedding, of herself alongside her new husband and her three sons, who were wearing custom-made suits by Suzy Perry.
“thank u @suzyrperry for making all my boys wedding suits we love u gx,” Stefani captioned the sweet family of five photo.

This is Stefani’s second marriage following her high-profile marriage to BUSH frontman Gavin Rossdale and Shelton’s third marriage. The “Minimum Wage” singer was previously married to Miranda Lambert and Kaynette Gern.
Shelton and Stefani got engaged back in late October 2020 in Shelton’s hometown of Oklahoma. They first met as coaches on NBC’s The Voice in 2014, following both of their public breakups. The superstar couple began dating in November 2015, just a year after working together as coaches on The Voice.
The couple has gone on to release four duets together throughout their relationship thus far, including “Nobody But You,” “Happy Anywhere” and more.
