Country star Bailey Zimmerman continues to reach milestones in his career and break country music records with the release of Religiously. The Album. The project not only marks the biggest streaming debut album of 2023 across all genres, but has also earned the impressive title of the biggest streaming country debut of all time.

The record debuted in the Top 3 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and secured the No. 7 spot on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 8 spot on The Billboard Canadian Album Chart.

“We are so proud of Bailey and the history-making, debut album he delivered. It’s been incredibly rewarding to watch this talented, young artist develop as both a songwriter and performer, connecting with his fans in a truly meaningful way,” shared Cris Lacy, Warner Music Nashville co-president, and Gregg Nadel, Elektra Entertainment president.

Lacy and Nadel continued, “The partnership between our two labels has been equally gratifying, working hand in hand alongside Bailey’s team, to make this launch one for the record books. This is only the beginning of a long and successful career.”

Upon hearing the news, Bailey Zimmerman took to social media to share a video graciously thanking fans and reacting to the achievement.

“Alright so, if you guys didn’t know… two weeks ago, I released my debut album, Religiously. The Album., and you guys streamed it so many freaking times that it is now the most streamed country debut album of all freakin’ time,” Zimmerman said in a clip on Instagram. “I just wanted to hop on here and tell y’all thanks for all the love on the album. Zimmerman is no stranger to success after his multi-Platinum megahit “Rock And A Hard Place” catapulted him to stardom. He has more than 2 billion global streams under his belt to date, and recently celebrated six weeks at #1 with the smash track. This accomplishment solidified his place as “the first male artist to spend six weeks atop Country Airplay just two or fewer promoted chart entries, in a lead role, into a career,” stated Billboard.

The country hitmaker took the stage at the 58th ACM Awards to perform the fan-favorite song, where he was nominated as a 2023 ACM Awards New Male Artist and was recognized as the most recent artist chosen by Amazon Music to take part in their Breakthrough Artist program. This massive feat comes on the heels of Zimmerman’s first CMT Music Awards nominations earlier this year, where he was recognized in the categories for Male Video of the Year and Breakthrough Male Video of the Year.

The Illinois-native isn’t slowing down, as he released his original song, “Won’t Back Down” — a collaboration featuring YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Dermot Kennedy — earlier this month. The single is included in the official soundtrack for the Fast & Furious franchise’s tenth installment, Fast X, and is available to stream now here.

Zimmerman saw career highs as well in 2022 with his record-breaking 2022 debut EP, Leave The Light On. Upon release, the project was dubbed 2022’s most-streamed all genre debut. In addition to his title as Billboard’s 2022 No. 2 Top New Country Artist and No. 4 Top New Artist across all genres, the star secured a spot on various Year End Best Of lists, such as 100 Best Songs of 2022 for LA Times and Best Songs of 2022 for NY Times. Zimmerman also received the honor of being the sole country artist last year to earn two RIAA Platinum certifications.

Fans can catch the “Where It Ends” singer live on the road alongside Morgan Wallen for Wallen’s 2023 One Night At A Time World Tour. The more than 50 date stint will hit iconic venues across the country, including LA’s SoFi Stadium, Boston’s Fenway Park and Chicago’s Wrigley Field.
