Bailey Zimmerman stopped his performance at The Country Fest in Orrville, Ohio to address a medical emergency in the crowd. After making sure that security and medics could get to the fan, he led a prayer asking for the fan’s safety and for the safety of everyone at the event.

Bailey Zimmerman Stops Ohio Concert To Address Medical Emergency In Crowd

In the midst of his headlining performance on Thursday, June 12 at Clay’s Resort Jellystone Park, the country superstar halted production of his set when he noticed a group of fans lighting up their phone flashlights and pointing to someone in the crowd needing medical attention after the person reportedly passed out.

In a clip shared to TikTok by a concertgoer named Mike Hemmann, CSC Event Staff and medics are seen making their way through the massive crowd to get to the fan in need of assistance. “Hey, let’s cut it real quick…” Zimmerman told his band, asking them to stop playing their instruments. The clip then shows event staff helping the fan out of the crowd and getting them to medical personnel for assistance.

Zimmerman continued, “We take safety really, really seriously here, y’all. So we just want to make sure somebody’s alright over here, everybody,” Zimmerman told the crowd. The 25-year-old singer/songwriter and Illinois native then asked to lead the crowd in prayer, “God bless all y’all man, you guys stay safe out there alright. If you guys wouldn’t mind, you guys want to do a quick prayer for everybody real quick?”

Zimmerman Then Led The Crowd In Prayer

Bailey Zimmerman then bowed his head while standing at a microphone stand with his acoustic guitar and prayed with the crowd.

“Let’s do it. Dear Lord, we are so grateful, we’re so grateful for your love and your grace. We’re so thankful for your son’s ultimate sacrifice to allow us to live within that grace and within that love and know that no matter what we do and who we are you love us, and you give us grace, and we’re just thankful for that. Thank you for all the people here,” Zimmerman said. “Thank you for Ohio, thank you, Lord, for Ohio. Man, just God bless all these people, I know they’re good people. So, man, it’s in your name we pray and play. Amen.”

This isn’t the first time the “Rock And A Hard Place” singer allowed his faith to shine during a concert. In fact, he now ends most shows by proclaiming the word of the Lord.

“If we deny him in front of the people, he will deny us in the front of the gates. No matter where you’re at in life, God loves you where you’re at. It took a long time for me to understand that and believe that, but God loves you no matter where you’re at in your life, he loves you. And the only reason we are here tonight is because of him. I give all the glory to God, I take no of it personally, I give it all to him, everything,” Zimmerman said at the conclusion of a recent performance at Sand In My Boots Festival.
