Alan Jackson returned to the ACM Awards stage on Sunday evening with a performance that fans won’t soon forget.
The 19-time ACM Award winner delivered a stunning performance of his just-released track “You’ll Always Be My Baby (Written for Daughters’ Weddings)” and his chart-topping country hit, “Drive (For Daddy Gene).”
“I wrote the song for Mattie’s wedding the summer of 2017, but it was so hard to do. I told ’em, ‘I wrote this for all of you,’” the country superstar recently shared, referencing his three daughters, Mattie, Ali, and Dani.
Jackson is set to release his much-anticipated new album, Where Have You Gone, on Friday, May 14. The long-awaited project is his first new album in six years and his 16th overall studio release.
