In anticipation for the upcoming Season 21 premiere of the Emmy-nominated singing competition show, The Voice, we compiled a list of 9 fun facts of the forthcoming season. See the full list below.

Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Camila Cabello & Kristin Chenoweth To Appear

The all-star Battle Round advisors for Season 21 of The Voice were announced via social media on Monday (Aug. 16).

Aldean will join Team Kelly as her battle round advisor, while Bentley will be by Shelton’s side. It was also revealed that Chenoweth will join the show as the advisor for Team Ariana and Cabello will join as advisor for Team Legend.

Ariana Grande Is A Coach

“I’m so honored and excited to join The Voice family!” Grande said. “I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time. I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists and help to take their craft to the next level.”

Blake Shelton Returns For His 21st Season

Shelton is the only remaining original coach on The Voice, and the only coach who has been there since the first season. The “Minimum Wage” singer is set to begin his 21st season as an eight-time winner, with artists Cam Anthony, Todd Tilghman, Sundance Head, Craig Wayne Boyd, Danielle Bradbery, Cassadee Pope, Chloe Kohanski and Jermaine Paul.

Ed Sheeran Reportedly The Voice’s Mega Mentor

According to Idol Forums, a site that typically reports on accurate spoilers from The Voice & American Idol, Season 21 Mega Mentor will be GRAMMY-award winning superstar Ed Sheeran. (via Heavy.com)

Carson Daly Returns As The Shows Host

Daly has hosted each and every Season of The Voice since its premiere in 2011. He and Shelton are the only original cast of the popular singing competition show.

Grande is the Highest Paid Coach

According to OK! Magazine, Grande is the highest paid coach on The Voice. The outlet reported that she will be paid between $20 to $25 million for her first season of The Voice. While the outlet also said Clarkson has a salary of $14 million and Shelton & Legend make near $13 million.

A Live Audience Returns For Season 21

Season 21’s Blind Auditions will have a live audience, which marks the first time The Voice has hosted an audience since the global health crisis. 

Clarkson Has The Most Season As A Female Coach

While Shelton is the only original coach on The Voice, Clarkson has many of season under her belt as well, in-fact the most of any female coach. Season 21 will mark Clarkson’s 14th season as a coach. 

The Voice Premieres On September 20

Season 21 of NBC’s The Voice airs on Monday, September 20 at 8/7c on NBC.
