UPDATE: Kelsea Ballerini is temporarily taking Kelly’s spot on The Voice.

Who will be filling in for coach Kelly Clarkson on Monday night’s episode of The Voice on March 22?

In a new clip shared by Clarkson on Instagram, It starts with a ringing phone to Clarkson from a female, who fans presume to be Gwen Stefani. It has not yet been confirmed who will be taking Clarkson’s red chair tonight but it seems fans are anticipating a one-night return of Stefani while other fans are guessing that it could be Season 14 The Voice winner, Brynn Cartelli.

“Hello, thank you so much for doing this for me,” Clarkson said on speaker phone to the person filling in for her on The Voice tonight.

The video then cuts to coaches Blake Shelton, John Legend and Nick Jonas bantering before wondering where Clarkson is.

“Where’s Kelly though?” Legend asked Shelton and Jonas.

“She’s probably on her talk show,” Jonas jokingly replied. “I think we just do it without her.”

“I’m in!” Shelton added.

Carson Daly then introduced the coaches to the show stage where Legend asked “Where’s Kelly” before Daly revealed that Clarkson will not appear during this week’s battle rounds as she wasn’t feeling well.

“Unfortunately, our own Kelly Clarkson was not feeling well this week,” host Carson Daly explained in the clip. “Kelly’s staying at home and she’s watching the battles remotely.”

The host went on to say “we were very… lucky enough to get her good friend and our good friend……” before the video cut off. To see who fills in for Clarkson, you will have to tune in tonight.

Tune into The Voice tonight (March 22) on NBC at 8 p.m. EST to find out who fills in for Clarkson!
