Tyler Hubbard brings anthem “Dancin’ In The Country” — an upbeat track that has secured more than 35M global streams to date — to life in the official music video for the single!
Directed by Stephen Kinigopoulos and Alexa Stone, the video stars America’s Got Talent and Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Terry Crews. Set in a bar, Crews and his posse of biker friends show up, putting into motion an anything but ordinary “bar fight” as Hubbard performs “Dancin’ In The Country.”
“This Video Is Unlike Any Video That I’ve Ever Been A Part Of”
“This video is unlike any video that I’ve ever been a part of,” shared the EMI Records Nashville recording artist. “We had the ultimate heavy hitter with Terry Crews on set – he was made for a video like this. One minute, he looked like he was ready to punch a hole in the wall, and the next, he’s got the entire room laughing, just being himself.”
He continued, “Terry is one of those guys that everyone wants to be around, and he was just perfect for this video. Terry and the dancers brought the choreography to life and were able to tell the story through their amazing dancing.”
“I was so excited to be asked to do this video with Tyler and when I saw the concept, I thought there was no one else that could pull this off,” added Crews. “This video is like a three-minute touchdown celebration, and it was so great to be a part of. For Tyler to allow me to represent something he wrote from his heart means a lot and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”

Co-penned by country superstar Keith Urban and Hubbard alongside Jon Nite and Ross Copperman, “Dancin’ In The Country” will have fans on their feet dancing along to the track as intended. Hubbard explained that Copperman and Urban worked on the musical side of the song while he and Nite tackled the lyrics.
“We pretty much just had a good time. I said, ‘Let’s write something that feels good. That’s really fun. That makes you want to dance,’” Hubbard shared with Kelleigh Bannen during an interview with Today’s Country Radio. “We’ve been having these dance parties every night at my house after dinner with our three kids… And so, I was sort of in that headspace of, let’s just make some fun music.”
Tyler Hubbard’s Debut Solo Album
In addition to his array of official and unofficial music videos, Hubbard recently dropped his long-awaited debut solo album, Tyler Hubbard. The 18-track project — released on Jan. 27 — was produced by Hubbard and Jordan Schmidt and can be streamed now here.
In addition to Hubbard’s megahit and debut solo single “5 Foot 9,” the project features fan favorite tracks “Baby Gets Her Lovin’,” “Way Home” and “35s,” all released leading up to the full record.
“For me to be releasing my first album as a solo artist, it means everything. I feel really proud of this music and how special it is to have the opportunity to share my personal story,” revealed Hubbard in an Instagram post. “Hopefully it makes you want to come to a show and hang out because most of these songs were created to play live. I can’t wait for you to hear it, I hope y’all get to know me on a deeper level, and I’m so grateful to have you all with me on this incredible journey.”
The singer is currently on tour in support of his new project. Fans can purchase tickets to see Hubbard live here.
