Machine Gun Kelly gave the debut live performance of “Jawbreaker” on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Friday (Sept. 25).

The never-before-seen medley on the Clarkson Show included “My Ex’s Best Friend” and “Jawbreaker,” two songs from his latest album, Tickets To My Downfall.

The performance was filmed remotely from a house with sparkling chandelier and all pink decor, perfectly matching the album’s overall color scheme and theme.

Watch the performance of “My Ex’s Best Friend” and “Jawbreaker” below.

The rapper’s album has quickly resonated with fans since its release with great reception so far.

“I just want to go against what everyone else thinks,” MGK said on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show ahead of the album’s release. “I make a pop-punk record … and everyone’s like, ‘You switched genres!’ To me, I just added on to the multiple things I’ve already done anyway, but, sure, what a narrow-minded way to look at things.”

Tickets To My Downfall is the follow-up his 2019 album, Hotel Diablo, which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The rapper is scheduled to perform a pair of shows next week including on Oct. 1 and Oct. 8, which will be broadcasting from the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California. The Oct. 1 concert will feature MGK performing Tickets to My Downfall in full and the Oct. 8 virtual concert will be of 2019’s Hotel Diablo. Tickets for both shows just went on sale at midnight at mgk.nocapshows.com.
