Kelly Clarkson and Jimmy Fallon sang a duet of an iconic song from the ’60s.

The award-winning talk show hosts joined forces for a one-of-a-kind duet during The Kelly Clarkson Show late last month. Fallon and Clarkson performed “I Got You Babe,” a massive hit by Sonny & Cher that was the first single on their debut studio album, Look At Us.

The duet, which was part of a series on The Kelly Clarkson Show dubbed Kellyoke, found Clarkson and Fallon trading verses as Sonny and Cher do throughout the iconic tune, before joining together during the chorus.

The superstar pairing were all smiles as they sway along to the melody of the classic 1965 hit. They even held hands as Fallon sang the infamous lyric, “Then put your little hand in mine / There ain’t no hill or mountain we can’t climb.”

“We nailed it, I feel like we killed it,” Clarkson said as they concluded their duet.

Following the performance, Fallon joked, “Cher just texted me, she loves it. She loves it.” Clarkson responded, “you have Cher’s number? You’re so cool.”

Fallon then told the story of a time when Cher kissed him during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

This isn’t the first random duet that Clarkson has partaken in, as she recently shared the stage with an NBA star and former professional basketball player for a special performance at a charity event

Join by O’Neal, Clarkson performed her chart-topping 2004 hit, “Since U Been Gone,” at a star-studded benefit event on Saturday (Oct. 2) in Las Vegas at MGM Grand Garden Arena. The event, presented by Pepsi Stronger Together, supported the Shaquille O’Neal Foundation, which benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs and schools.

In addition to performing “Since U Been Gone,” Clarkson also sang “Stronger,” another smash hit that quickly became a fan-favorite from her fifth studio album of the same name.

While Shaq didn’t join Clarkson for her “Stronger” performance, the Texas native surely put her powerhouse vocals on full display as she soared through the song, prompting a massive sing-a-long with the capacity crowd in Vegas.

Fallon also appeared during Shaq’s charity event.
