Kane Brown is set to join Blake Shelton as his Battle Advisor on Season 19 of NBC’s The Voice.

Following a weekend of teasing, the country superstar’s announced the news on Monday, October 5 via Shelton’s Instagram story.

Over the weekend, Shelton teased his advisor with several hints towards who it could be including a multiple choice answer that listed four artists including John Legend, Ava Max, Lauren Alaina and Maren Morris. Then asking fans to select the answer of whomever didn’t collaborate with who they think is the advisor. In which Morris is the answer as Brown never did collaborate with Brown.

The second hint was Brown singing Uncle Kracker’s “Follow Me” in which you can distinguish Brown’s one-of-a-kind voice.

“Here’s clue No. 2 for your guys, my Advisor is gonna sing a little something for you,” Shelton shared.

Shelton and Brown confirmed the news on Monday (Oct. 5) with a video on Shelton’s Instagram story which showcased Brown singing his popular hit “Ole Red.”

The Voice is set to return on October 19 at 8 p.m. EST/PST on NBC.
