Gabby Barrett released the music video for her latest single “Footprints On The Moon” on Friday (Sept. 17).

The country superstar’s dreams come to fruition throughout the inspirational music video for “Footprints On The Moon.”

The autobiographical video shows fans the singer’s success story coming to life from childhood to present day. The clip flawlessly showcases the motivational story behind the songs lyrics with Barrett serving as the perfect example that despite naysayers, “you can do anything, anything you want to,” as the Pennsylvania native reminds fans that there are “Footprints On The Moon,” and if you continue to follow your dreams, nothing is unreachable.

The empowering clip also features her husband Cade Foehner and their 7-month-old daughter Baylah May.

Watch the new music video below.

Co-written by Barrett alongside Zach Kale & Jon Nite, the same trio of songwriters who wrote “I Hope.” “Footprints on the Moon” follows Barrett’s two consecutive No. 1 hits, including “I Hope” and her latest “The Good Ones.” The track is featured on Barrett’s record-breaking debut album, Goldmine.

The track allows Barrett’s powerhouse vocals to shine while sharing an inspirational message that you can do anything you want if you put your mind to and that everyone will always say you can’t, till you do, you just have to prove them wrong and keep powering through whatever it may be. The song also includes some stunning guitar solos from her husband, Cade Foehner.

In an interview with Music Mayhem, the award-winning country singer shared the meaning behind the fan-favorite track. The country superstar told Music Mayhem that the track is an encouraging song, that she wishes she had to listen to when she was younger. Barrett explained that the song brings an inspirational message that you can truly do whatever you want to if you just follow your dreams and never give up on them.

“I wanted to have a song on the album that was an encouraging song, just something that I would’ve liked to have heard when I was in High School or whatever the case was. It’s just an encouraging song for people to go for their dreams and really reach for the sky because the sky’s the limit. Especially if there’s footprints on the moon, literally, if somebody could walk on the moon which we never thought that would happen, you are able to work hard and achieve some great things here on Earth,” Barrett explained. “So that is just an encouraging song that I wish [that] I had in high school when I was going through harder times, just really grinding it out and nobody really believed in me so I just hope it’s an encouraging song that people will gravitate towards.”

Additionally, Barrett was recently named one of CMT’s Artist Of The Year honorees alongside Chris Stapleton, Kane Brown, Luke Combs and Kelsea Ballerini.

The hitmaker is also the most nominated female artist at the CMA Awards this year, earning 4 nods, including Female Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year, as well as Single of the Year and Song of the Year for “The Good Ones.”
