Evanescence’s Amy Lee and Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale gave an impressive cover of a popular rock hit during a recent concert.

The two rockstar frontwoman joined forces for an epic cover of Linkin Park’s “Heavy,” a track that features Kiiara, and is the first single from their seventh studio album, One More Light. The performance took place at the Veterans Memorial Colosseum in Portland, Oregon, on Friday (Nov. 5).

“If you all will help me welcome, please, a very dear friend to the stage, Lzzy Hale,” Lee shared before welcoming Hale to the stage.

Launching their performance as Lee took a seat center stage at a grand piano and Hale stood beside it, their soaring rock vocals truly shined as they belted out the lyrics to the Linkin Park tune.

Lee and Hale powered through their tribute to the iconic rock band fronted by the late Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda.

Watch their epic performance below.

Fans praised their cover of the song in the comments of the YouTube video, which was shot by a fan in the front row.

Chester would be proud of this,” one fan shared. “Rip Chester, Make Chester proud”

While another fan pleaded, “I hope they record this as a studio version.”

Co-written by Linkin Park members Brad Delson, Shinoda, and the late Bennington, alongside Julia Michael and Justin Tranter. “Heavy” marked the last single to be released during Bennington’s lifetime.

The concert in Portland served as the kick-off to their co-headlining trek, which will run through December 18 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Throughout the tour, Evanescence and Halestorm will be joined by PLUSH and Lilith Czar.
