Dustin Lynch was joined by a young fan to perform his Top 15 and climbing hit song during his set in Texas.

The country superstar performed his fan-favorite track, “Thinking ‘Bout You,” a duet that originally features MacKenzie Porter/Lauren Alaina, with a 7-year-old fan named Julianne, on Sunday (Oct. 3) at the Stampede of Speed Music Fest in Ennis, Texas.

After spotting the fan singing every word throughout his headlining performance, Lynch welcomed the fan to join him on stage and sing alongside him.

“Can we get Julianne a microphone?” Lynch asked a member of his touring crew, before strutting down to the tip of the catwalk to sing the fast rising hit.

“Come on, let’s go back out here where everybody can see,” Lynch said to Julianne, as he held her hand and walked down the catwalk. “We gotta make sure your mom can get a video of this.”

The clip, shared by her mother Jami on Instagram, finds the young fan and the country hitmaker belting out the words to the fan-favorite tune.

“Can you please keep singing like this all night?” Lynch asked the 7-year-old, which she replied, “Probably!”

“Julianne, you made my night,” Lynch exclaimed.

Co-written by Lynch alongside Andy Albert, Hunter Phelps and Will Weatherly, “Thinking ‘Bout You” appears on the country superstar’s latest and fourth studio album, Tullahoma, and originally features Lauren Alaina. The song was later re-recorded in 2021 with Canadian country singer MacKenzie Porter.

Earlier this year, Lynch previously welcomed a viral 17-year-old aspiring singer named Hailey James to the stage at Country Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin, to sing MacKenzie Porter’s verses of their chart-climbing duet “Thinking ‘Bout You.” Not only did James wow Lynch and the crowd with her impressive vocals, but also TikTok as the video had gone on to amass millions of views.
