David Bisbal and Carrie Underwood performed their collaborative single “Tears Of Gold” for the first-time ever during the 2021 Latin American Music Awards on Thursday, April 15.
Surrounded by golden lights, the latin and country superstars joined forces for the live debut of their bilingual duet. Bisbal and Underwood’s vocals flawlessly harmonized throughout their performance on the awards show.
“I am very proud of our first collaboration,” Bisbal recalled. “The video was shot in Los Angeles and it was very special because I love Carrie and truly admire her courage. She has shown a profound admiration for the Spanish language with her wonderful vocals on the track and I am honored to collaborate with Carrie on her first bilingual Spanish song. I hope you enjoy the blend of country and pop music on ‘Tears of Gold’ as much as we do.”
“Tears Of Gold” was released in early December 2020 via Universal Spain and appears on Bisbal’s re-released album, En Tus Planes. The song was accompanied by a Alexis Morante-directed music video, which you can watch HERE.
Hosted by actress Jacqueline Bracamontes, the 2021 Latin AMAs aired live from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida, and also featured performances from Pitbull, Maluma, Ricky Martin and many more.
