Adam Lambert and Demi Lovato stunned with their impressive duet performance!

The global superstars shared the stage during Global Citizen Live at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles for a duet of the iconic Tear For Fears’ 1983 hit “Mad World.” The performance began with Lovato, wearing an all black pants suit, accompanied by a pianist, allowing her powerhouse vocals to be put on full display. Lambert, wearing all black and a sparkly silver jacket, then joined Lovato in perfect harmony for the chorus and the remainder of the song, which he sang several verses of.

Lovato also performed “Anyone” during the show, while Lambert performed his latest single, “Superpower.”

Watch their performance below.

Written by Tear For Fears’ Roland Orzabal and originally sung by bassist Curt Smith, “Mad World” is the group’s third single overall and their first internation success, as it reached Top 40 in several countries in 1982-1983.

Global Citizen Live is a worldwide moment of unity with a mission to defend the planet and defeat poverty.

Broadcasting from six continents, the 24-hour livestream is a one-in-a-generation event that took place in iconic locations around the world, including Lagos, Rio de Janeiro, New York City, Paris, London, Seoul, Los Angeles, and Sydney.

In addition to Lambert and Lovato, BTS, Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, FINNEAS, Coldplay, Elton John, Femi Kuti, Lizzo, Lorde, Stormzy, Tiwa Savage, Usher, and lots more performed during the unifying concert special.
