You recently signed with Jason Aldean’s new record label, Night Train Records. How does it feel to be working professionally with someone who is a good friend of yours?
I have always respected Jason as an artist and looked up to him so to have him believe in me as a fellow artist means a lot to me. We both shoot each other straight when working together so it helps create great music when you can both just be honest with each other. He’s like a big brother to me so i’ve learned a lot from him in the studio and on the stage.

How did you and Jason Aldean meet and become good friends?
We spent a lot of time together the 2 years we toured together so we got to know each other pretty well. Plus we both share a lot of similar interests like Georgia football and a love for the outdoors.

We caught your performance this past summer at CMA Fest and it was great, What would you say were 3 of the most memorable moments of the weekend?
I’d say the performance was definitely the most memorable. Seeing the fans react to the songs is one of the best feelings in the world.

Coming up in November, you will be headed out on Brantley Gilbert’s ‘Kick It In The Ship’ BG Cruise traveling from Miami to Cozumel, Mexico on a 4-day cruise. What are you most looking forward to onboard the cruise this year?
Im looking forward to spending time and catching up with brantley and Colt who i have been friends with since i moved to Nashville and just interacting on a personal level with the fans on the cruise.

What can fans expect from your performance on the cruise?
A laid back, personal experience. I try to give them a different type of show on the cruise so they can really get to know what i’m about.

If you had to make a cruise survival kit for this BG cruise, What would be your top 5 essentials to bring?
My wife, because she’s a critical care nurse. Swimmin’ trunks and flip flops.

What will you be doing in Cozumel, Mexico when the cruise docks there for the day?
Snorkeling with sharks and cliff diving.

The BG Cruise has a few theme nights, which one of those nights is called the ‘Redneck Yacht Club,’ What redneck yacht club attire will you guys be wearing?
Hmm redneck yacht club… i dont think i will have to do much dressing up for that theme.

There are a lot of unique activities on the BG Cruise like flip clip tournaments, bowling with Brantley and more, will you be participating in any unique experiences while on the cruise?
I’m a part of the Jason Aldean Bowling Championship league so i’m pretty sure i will destroy everyone in bowling.

Anything else you’d like to say about yourself or the cruise?
I hope the ship doesn’t run out of fuel. I’m not much for long distance swimming.

What is coming up for Tyler Farr in the near future, any new music in the works or any upcoming tours?
We will be releasing my first single on BBR/Night Train Records early Next Year. I’m excited for this next step in my career and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
