The Voice Season 18 Winner, Todd Tilghman made a special announcement live from the Front Porch Exhibit in Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience (The MAX) in Meridian, Mississippi on Friday (June 12).

The 42-year-old teased during a recent Facebook Live that an “album will come” or “at least an EP” will be coming very soon, as soon as they possibly can.

“I am here to tell you… I know a lot of you are waiting for this album announcement and things. Unfortunately that is not what this is announcing but that is coming,” Tilghman explained of the new music coming. “One way or another an album will come, at least an EP will come very soon as soon as we can possibly get it done. That will come.”

Also, during the live he detailed his plans for July, which is what fans have been awaiting, and that is live concerts. Tilghman announced that throughout the month of July, he will be performing every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening at The Theatre Of The Stars (formerly known as Memories Theater) in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

“So very many of you have asked about concerts and live shows and so what I am here to tell you is that I have been talking with some people, actually some friends of mine and then some people I just met in this process and those are happening and this is how those are going to happen. The tickets are on sale right now and we’re going to post the link here on Todd Tilghman. This is how this is going to happen, In Pigeon Forge Tennessee, one of the places that I love the most, the great smoky mountains, at The Theatre Of The Stars, formerly known as Memories Theater, I will have a show.”

He told fans that they can expect a variety of songs performed including fan-favorites from his trek on The Voice, songs that mean a lot to him and move him and just other favorites of his.

“So every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, at least for the month of July right now, and we’re gonna feel it out after that and see. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night there will be a live show and I’ll be singing a lot of my favorite songs, a lot of songs that you guys love from my time on The Voice, and then a lot of just songs that are favorites of my own, songs that are important to me and songs that move me and songs that are fun to sing, I just want us to spend time together and have a good time and that’s what we’re gonna do.”

He assured fans that they have nothing to worry about with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic as the Theater and he will be taking all precautionary measures to make sure fans are safe and that they are following all state and city guidelines.

“The guidelines are all in place, don’t worry, I know all of you have all these COVID questions, chill, the people that are in charge of the theater have all of that and the theater will be handling all of that and they will be strictly following the guidelines that they have there in Tennessee as well as in that City.”

However, with that assurance, comes some restrictions which include limited capacity at the venue as they have to abide by the current guidelines which are at 50-60% capacity. So, Tilghman says if you want to go and see a live show of his, he recommends that you get your tickets quick.

“Again, remember whatever the restrictions are that are in place under the authority in that area, those restrictions will be upheld and I certain in the July shows that the theater won’t be full capacity, so basically where were at right now is that if you want to go to the show, you’re gonna want to get your tickets now as I think [we’re allowed] only 50 or 60 percent capacity.”

Tilghman was recently crowned the winner of The Voice Season 18 and is a husband and father of eight and is the lead Pastor of Cornerstone Church in Meridian, Mississippi.

The first show is taking place the first Thursday of July which is July 2, and will run throughout the entire span of the month each Thursday, Friday and Saturday with the possibility of more shows to come after. This concert residency marks Tilghman’s first live shows since his performances on The Voice.
