Thomas Rhett released a stunning cover of Morgan Wallen’s new song “Whiskey’d My Way” and we are loving it.

On Wednesday (Jan. 13), Rhett shared a cover of one of the tracks that he co-penned for Wallen entitled “Whiskey’d My Way.” Rhett also co-wrote “Your Bartender,” both of which appear on Wallen’s latest release, Dangerous: The Double Album.

“I’ve been wearing out this Morgan Wallen record and I thought I would play you a little snippet of one that I wrote on there. One of my favorite songs i’ve been apart of and it’s really cool that Morgan thought it was good enough for his record,” Rhett gushed.

Watch the cover of “Whiskey’d My Way” below.

“Whiskey’d My Way” was co-written by Rhett alongside Josh Miller, Matt Dragstrem and Josh Thompson and appears on Wallen’s double album, Dangerous.

In a recent interview, Wallen revealed that although he isn’t a fan of Zoom writing he did write one song with a “couple of buddies” including superstar Thomas Rhett and it ended up being a very “successful Zoom write” and Wallen says he thinks “it’s gonna end up being on his [Thomas Rhett] album.”

The duet teased in the interview is expected to appear on Thomas Rhett’s yet-to-be announce new album. Hear a clip of the possible duet HERE.

Dangerous: The Double Album is out now, pick it up HERE. The album has already went on to smash records on streaming platforms.
