Morgan Wallen is teasing a brand new duet with fellow country superstar Thomas Rhett.
In a recent interview with Country Now, Wallen revealed that although he isn’t a fan of Zoom writing he did write one song with a “couple of buddies and Thomas Rhett” too and it ended up being a “successful Zoom write” as “the only song” he wrote during quarantine was with Thomas Rhett and Wallen says he thinks “it’s gonna end up being on his album.”
Although, Wallen didn’t specify what song he and Rhett had written together, it is assumed to be the song that Rhett teased on Instagram in late summer 2020.
Back in August 2020, Rhett teased fans by sharing a clip on Instagram of a song called “Mamaw’s House,” that he said he wrote with his “good buddy,” Morgan Wallen. The song finds the singer taking fans down a country backroad to visit his grandmother.
The duet teased in the interview with Country Now is expected to appear on Thomas Rhett’s yet-to-be announce new album.
“If every nightstand had a Bible / Every front porch had a swing / If every backyard had a garden / Every front door had a screen / Yeah maybe this crazy world would straighten up / And slow on down / If every town had a mamaw’s house,” Rhett sings in the clip.

Wallen is just a few days away from releasing his highly-anticipated sophomore album, Dangerous: The Double Album, which is set for release on January 8.
Rhett is listed as a co-writer on several tracks on the upcoming new album including “Whiskey’d My Way” and “Your Bartender.”
