Carrie Underwood celebrated Christmas with her husband Mike Fisher a bit early as he surprised her with two cows for Christmas.

On December 3, Fisher shared photos to his Instagram story including one in a cowboy hat that was captioned “Cattle auction time! Big hat. No cattle…yet.”

He then revealed that he was able to purchase “two cows” during the auction, before he shared a photo of them saying “Carrie Underwood wanted cows for Christmas, Merry Christmas babe!”

See a photo of their newest additions to the farm, two cows.

The cows joined their family farm that already includes five horses, several chickens and more at their “forever barn.”

Then later in the month, Underwood told Country Now that her 5-year-old son Isaiah named the two new additions.

“My son named them brownie and Oreo because one’s brown and one is black and white,” Underwood revealed.

During the same interview with Country Now, the superstar explained why she wanted cows, “Just for pets, you know… He went and got me a couple of cows. They’re good! I mean, I love animals. Cows are probably my favorite animal because I grew up with them and I think they just have such personalities and I just can’t wait to really get to know ours.”

On December 17, During a Late Night interview with Seth Meyers, the Grammy-award winning star shared the back story on why she really wanted cows for Christmas saying, “I wanted cows. I grew up with cows and I love them, They’re like big dogs to me. They’re probably my favorite animal if I had to pick one. And I’ve always wanted them.”

Underwood recently released her first-ever Christmas album, My Gift, which you can pick up HERE. She also just-released a visual special of the record with an HBO Max Special. During the holiday special, she performs traditional favorites and new holiday classics. She also was featured on her first bilingual song entitled “Tears Of Gold” with David Bisbal.
