Miranda Lambert recently returned to her home state of Texas for a “girls weekend,” complete with a river float adventure, a trip to Buc-ee’s, and some hang-time with her mom, Beverly, and closest gal pals.

The “Strange” singer documented her trip on social media, giving fans a look at several snapshots from her trip to the Lone Star State.

“Take me back Texas,” she wrote. “We had the best girls weekend in Gruene Texas. My favorite place on earth. Family, Friends, queso, margs , buccee’s , lone star lights , wine , fried pickles, river floats and pontoons. Sounds like heaven to me!”

In the series of photos, Lambert can be seen alongside her longtime stylist, Tiffany Gifford, her bandmate and backup singer, Gwen Sebastian, as well as Rebecca Sweet, wife of Little Big Town’s Phillip Sweet, and Evyn Johnston, wife of The Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston, (among others).

“Miss y’all already,” she sweetly added.

Lambert is all smiles in the photos as she is surrounded by her girl gang. The photos included snapshots of their time on the river, enjoying a BBQ lunch by the river bank, and toasting the good times with Lone Star Texas Light Beer.

The reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year also visited the world-famous travel center Buc-ee’s and left with a souvenir: a stuffed beaver!

The adventure comes just under a month after Lambert and her husband’s 20-day Airstream excursion out West. During their 20-day road trip, the couple visited Colorado, Utah, Montana and Wyoming with their longtime friend Gwen Sebastian, and Sebastian’s husband Louis Newman.

Their nearly three-week trip, which Lambert dubbed the “Best summer ever,” concluded in Montana.

The getaway marked Lambert’s first summer month off since the “If I Was A Cowboy” singer’s career began at age 17. The Texas native revealed that the month-long vacation was much-needed to avoid “burnout.”

“Burnout is such a real thing, and you don’t even realize it until you take a break,” Lambert shared during a recent interview with Audacy’s US 99. “A lot of us don’t take a long enough break. Like, by the time we’re gone on vacation a week, it took us three days to calm down, and then it’s time to go back to work and I’m like the Europeans do it right, they’re like, ‘We’re going on holiday see y’all in a month’ and I’m like, ‘Yes! More of that.’”

Lambert also reflected on how a break helps her mental state on both a professional and personal level.

“I’m so much better at what I do, and for my friends and family, and just as a person if I can live a life and have a lot of balance of downtime and work time. I’m sure 2020 taught us that more than ever, but I’m keeping that close because I think it was an important lesson for all of us. I feel so much more inspired when I am rested – it helps!”

Following her month-long break, Lambert shared a date night with her husband Brendan McLoughlin at the ACM Honors, where she was honored with the Triple Crown Award.

During the 15th Annual ACM Honors, Lambert was honored by her musical heroes Brooks & Dunn as well as her former tour mates Little Big Town with special tribute performances.

The event, which took place on Wednesday (Aug. 24), was filmed for a two-hour broadcast that will air on Tuesday, September 13 via FOX at 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT.

This fall, Lambert will launch her much-anticipated Las Vegas residency, Velvet Rodeo.

Kicking off on September 23, 2022, the residency will take place at the 7,000-seat Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, the centerpiece of the famed Las Vegas Strip.
