Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are gearing up to tie the knot this summer!
The “Slow Clap” singer shared photos of her surprise bridal shower on Thursday, June 7. The show was in celebration of her upcoming wedding, where she will marry country superstar Blake Shelton.
“I got kidnapped by my family to celebrate,” she said in video on social media. “I’m getting married!”
Stefani went on to document her day in photos that included dozens of gifts, a card addressed “to the Bride to Be,” some elegant pink flowers and more, which she captioned, “Feeling loved feeling blessed.” The soon-to-be Mrs. Shelton also shared a photo of herself drinking wine while holding some gifts, wearing a colorful top and jeans.
“👰🏼♀️💍🥰 gx,” she captioned a photo of herself from a friend’s Instagram which said “SHE’S GETTING MARRIIIEEEED.”
Additionally, Stefani received a card with “something old” from her parents, Patricia and Dennis, receiving a copy of “the Mass on the Day of Marriage” from their June 1966 wedding. “Wishing you all the happiness your heart can hold… today, tomorrow, always,” the card read. “We love you so very much!”
Stefani and Shelton got engaged in October 2020 and are preparing to get married sometime this summer.
