I Prevail has come a long way with their on-the-road lifestyle since their first album, 2016’s Lifelines – the same year they lost many of their belongings in an unexpected tour bus fire.

These days, they’re riding high on a set of wheels at the hefty price of $1 million, but the rock band’s guitarist/rough vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe assures they’re just renting the luxurious and spacious home on wheels. Despite that, it’s clear to see the band, which also consists of Brian Burkheiser, Steve Menoian, Dylan Bowman, and Gabe Helguera, are sitting pretty as they continue to tour around the world.

In a nearly 10-minute clip posted to YouTube, Vanlerberghe takes fans around as he shows off the giant living space that the group occupies while treating fans to their music, including their most recent song, “Deep End,” which appears on their 2022 third studio album, True Power

From A “Pretty Fancy” Bathroom To A Comfy Lounge Area, The Bus Has Everything The Band Needs

From the sleek brown-colored kitchen space to a “pretty fancy” bathroom to a comfy lounge area and what Vanlerberghe calls “Bunk Alley,” the band’s tour bus has everything it needs for them to stay comfortable throughout their travels as rocker musicians.

“Today is an off day, so I have the bus to myself, so I thought I’d just bring you guys along and check out the bus. As you see, it’s got some space,” Vanlerberghe tells viewers in the clip while pointing out the plush black couch beside him and several other sitting areas nearby. “We’ve got a couch that someone’s using right now. We’ve got another couch that no one’s using right now, and then we’ve got a little bench with the table.”

“Got TV. Usually, I don’t get access to the TV. Brian’s always watching football. Sometimes I just want my cartoons. So got SpongeBob on the TV,” he jokes as he makes his way to the kitchen, which features a “coffee machine,” a “Nutribullet,” a “water heater” and more.

Vanlerberghe Needs One Cabinet “Whiskey And Peanut Butter”

For Vanlerberghe, he admits that all he needs in one cabinet is “whiskey and peanut butter. Two of the greatest things God’s ever given us.”

After rummaging around in the drawers to show off all the snacks and essentials, Vanlerberghe moves on to the bathroom, which includes a stand-up shower and toilet with multiple-button features.

“The other day, we were parked on a hill, and Steve started to take a shower, and just, he must’ve been going crazy in that shower,” the performer shares. “Just water splashing everywhere, and that turned into a slip and slide into our bunk alley. Just water coming right out of the bathroom down the alley. It was not sick. It was not dope.”

After sharing that story, Vanlerberghe eventually heads to the bunk alley, which features condo bunks draped in curtains to give each band member their personal space. He also shows viewers the bunk he has been using for the last three years, which will become nostalgic for him when he stops using it as it is where he experienced his first Grammy nomination. (In 2019, the band received Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album for Trauma and Best Metal Performance for the song “Bow Down.”)

I Prevail Also Have An On-The-Road Gym – “Gym Prevail”

Viewers also get to see the back of the bus, where I Prevail warms up before their shows, escapes from the outside world, and keeps all their books and hobbies.

Aside from riding in style, I Prevail also gives a look at their on-the-road gym, which includes a bench area, weights, dumbbells, and more. But the most exciting part is the band has chosen to take up jiu-jitsu when they can fit it into their schedule.

At one point, Eric Vanlerberghe sits down and shares, “This bus is great. It’s better than the one that lost five tires. It’s better than the one that we got shot at in, and it’s much better than one that burned down on the side of the road.”

In late September, I Prevail will join Godsmack on the road as a supporting act The headlining fall North American tour in support of Godsmack’s eighth studio album, Lighting Up the Sky, kicks off on September 3rd in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and runs through Oct. 22, where it will wrap in Quebec City, QC at Videotron Centre. I Prevail will join the band on dates including Sept. 24–Oct. 4 and Oct. 10-22.
