Earlier this month, Sebastian Bach met George Strait after one of the “Check Yes Or No” singer’s Las Vegas concerts.

The former Skid Row singer shared a series of photos on Wednesday (Feb. 16), from when he met the “King Of Country Music,” which took place earlier this month at 2 AM in Strait’s tour bus, just outside of T-Mobile Arena, according to Bach’s social media posts.

“Here is the combo you did not know you needed! Sebastian Bach with the King of Country @georgestrait 🆒 these pictures were taken about 2 in the morning after the show on Mr Straits bus 🚍,” he captioned the photos, which include photos of Bach, Strait, and their wives, Suzanne and Norma, respectively. 

Bach continued, “We could not have been more surprised & happy to be invited to meet the man and his lovely wife in his own living room on wheels! Also got to hang out with George Jr who is an amazing lyricist in his own write 🎸after such an incredible show we were so appreciative of George Strait’s hospitality!”

Did You Know Sebastian Bach and George Strait Share A Drummer?

According to the rock n’ roll singer’s social media post, he and Strait share a drummer, Bobby Jarzombek, who also appears within the photos he shared. Jarzombek, who recently joined Strait’s band, is best known for his work with Bach, Fates Warning, and Judas Priest’s Rob Halford. 

“Completely honored to share a drummer with this man 🥁 it was just an amazing night all around!” Bach added, while Bach’s wife Suzanne said, “Huge congrats for our Bobby joining George Strait’s Band! It couldn’t have happened to a better person! A true Texan joining a Texas band, George Strait! We love you Bobby!”

“Words cannot express how proud & happy we all are for our great friend @bobby_jarzombek 🥁,” Bach shared alongside a video of Strait and his band entering the T-Mobile arena.

“As everyone knows Bobby and I have played together for around 15 years now and it’s just completely mind-blowing to watch him play on stage with the Legend @georgestrait 🎤,” Bach continued to share. “Bobby you are the best and your success could not have had happened to a nicer guy. Incredible to see the best man at our wedding on stage making packed arenas happy & showing the world how it’s done. Keep rocking my friend.”

While hanging out with the country icon, Bach also got a chance to try Strait’s tequila brand, Código 1530, which he praised and said “packs a mighty whallop” and goes down “smooth as water,” so much so that you “hardly notice it’s even going down!”

Bach wife Suzanne also shared a series of photos from their two-hour hangout with Strait and his wife of 50 years, Norma.

“What an incredible, memorable evening seeing @sebastianbach drummer/friend @bobby_jarzombek on #stage playing for The #georgestrait !” Suzanne wrote. “Not only did his music left an impact on my life growing up in #ftsmith #arkansas but to meet him and his beautiful wife of 50 years, Norma and their son George Strait Jr. made it extra special! They were so #downtoearth inviting us to hang out with them on their bus for two hours was definitely a wow moment! Mr. George Strait put on quite a show! He still sounds amazing! We had a blast!”
